WBJEEB 2020 Application Form & Fee

The information related to the application form and fee is as per below:

• The application forms for the WBJEE will be available for the applicants on the official website.
• As per the application process the applicants have to register themselves on the WBJEE website
• Then fill the application form will all the information.
• Then upload the documents in the proper format as mentioned on the form/website.
• Pay the application fee of Rs 500/-.
• And finally, submit the application and get the confirmation through email.

• The applicant should be a citizen of India.
• The minimum age of the applicant should be more than 17years at the time of admission.
• There is no maximum age limit decided to apply for the WBJEE.

WBJEEB 2020 Exam Pattern

The information in regards to the paper pattern is as per below and this will help the applicants to understand the question paper pattern and prepare accordingly:

• The complete question paper will be for 200 marks.
• The question paper will have only MCQ type questions.
• This will be an offline paper (Pen & Paper mode)
• Only a black or blue ball pen can be used to circle the correct answer.
• The question paper will have a total of 155 questions in it.
• The question paper will have questions from three subjects (Physics, Chemistry & mathematics) only
• The question paper will have three sections so for the 1^st & 2^nd section 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
• No negative marking will be done for the 3^rd
• The same things go for the 1^st & 2^nd section only one answer will be the correct one.
• The 3^rd section will have more than one correct answer so applicants can mark accordingly.

The information in regards to the syllabus is as per below:

1. Physics: Physics World, Measurements, Units & Dimensions, Atomic physics, Nuclear physics, Solid-state electronics, Optics – 2 wave optics, motion of center of mass, connected systems, friction, gravitation, bulk properties of matter, viscosity, heat & thermal physics, thermodynamics, kinematics, laws of motion, work, power, energy, kinetic theory of gases, oscillations & waves, electrostatics, current electricity, magnetic induction & alternating current, electromagnetic waves, optics – 1 (ray optics), particle nature of light & wave-particle dualism.
2. Chemistry: Atoms, molecules & chemical arithmetic, atomic structure, radioactivity & nuclear chemistry, the periodic table & chemical families, environmental chemistry, chemical bonding & molecular structure, Coordination compounds, the chemistry of metals, chemical energetic & chemical dynamics, physical chemistry of solutions, chemistry in industry.
3. Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate geometry of two dimensions, Co-ordinate geometry of three dimensions, Calculus.

WBJEEB 2020 Exam Admit Card

The information in regards to the Admit card is as per below:

• The Admit Card will be released by the official authorities on the website by the month of April 2020.
• The admit card is also known as the Hall ticket and it has the details of the applicant and the examination details in it.
• The applicants will not be authorized to enter the exam hall without the admit card/ hall ticket.
• The applicants should keep the admit card safe until the complete exam and the admission process is completed.
• The applicants have to always keep extra copies of the admit card as no duplicate copies will be provided for the admit card.

WBJEEB 2020 Exam Result

Below is the important information in regards to the results for the WBJEE:

• The results will be published by the authorities from the university on the official website in the month of June 2020.
• The results are also known as the scorecard or the rank card for the applicants.
• Applicants have to use their registered credentials to access the result.
• The results will have the information related to the exam like the score (total score, relevant score, component score, etc).
• It will also have the breakup of scores for paper 1 and paper 2.
• Just after the results are published the list of the cut off marks will also be published by the authorities.
• Applicants have to print the result copies as it will be required at the time of admissions.

WBJEEB 2020 Exam Counselling

The information in regards to the counseling is as per below:

• The selection of the counseling will be based on the cut off marks achieved in the WBJEE.
• The selection information for the counseling will be released on the official website only so applicants have to check the information online.
• The counseling sessions will start at the End of June 2020.
• The counseling process consists of three rounds in all.
• The applicants have to carry the original documents with 2 attested copies for the verification.
• A list of the documents will be published on the official website.
