FMGE 2020 Application FormFMGE is the short form of Foreign Medical Graduates Examination which is known as the Medical Council of India. FMGE is a licensure examination which has been conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE).

This examination is one of the Mandatory requirements for an Indian citizen who has qualified in the medical exam and has a medical degree from a college outside of India to practice medicine in the country.

This exam has been introduced in 2002 for qualifying the examination for the Indian students who want to train their medical degrees from other countries instead of India, such as that country that belong to the formers.

This FMGE is known as Foreign Medical Graduates Examination. This Examination is also known as the Medical Council of India Screening Test. This examination is been conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) which is a licensure examination for those candidates who want to practice medicine in India.

This FMG Examination is one of the mandatory requirements for an Indian citizen who has a medical degree from a foreign country to practice medicine in the country. The screening test for foreign medical graduates is conducted twice a year in June and December. As it is said before that this FMGE Examination is been introduced from the year 2002 through the screening test regulations. Every year, around 10,000 candidates from India decide to go abroad to study the MBBS in various Medical Council of India who has approved the university in different countries such as the MBBS in China, MBBS in Russia or MBBs in Nepal, etc.

The legality of this test was challenged in the Indian courts and was upheld by the supreme court of India in the year 2009. In this examination, the passing percentage is observed to be just 10%-20% with an average of 12%.

By this information of passing percentage, the candidate would able to indicate that the quality difference in the medical education between India and some other countries like China and Russia.

A medical degree from India is well recognized and it is considered to be equivalent to international standards.

This all is in the facts which could be a reason why the medical graduates of China and Russia are failed to pass this examination, instead of this the students of European countries, American and Canada are been pass in this examination.
