Shri Ramasamy Memorial University Gangtokis also referred to as SRMUS GANGTOK, is a State University situated in Gangtok, Sikkim. SRMUS GANGTOK was founded in 2017. Its campus is scattered across 300 Acres of land. SRMUS GANGTOK is an accredited NAAC B+. SRMUS GANGTOK is offering admission in various courses such as a BA (Hons.), BBA, BCA, B.COM, B.COM (HONS.), BSc, B.VOC, D.Pharma, MA, MBA, MCA, MCA (LAT), M.COM, MPH, MSc, M.Sc HHM.

Various Facilities supplied by the SRMUS GANGTOK are Indoor Games, Outdoor Games, Sports Complex, Wi-Fi, Medical Support Systems, Canteen, Library & Information Center, Auditorium, IT Centers, Alumni Services, Practical Lab and etc. SRM University, Sikkim is a private university founded in the year 2013. The university was set up under the Shri Ramasamy Memorial University, Sikkim Act 2013.

SRMUS 2024 Application Form will be Released soon for Various Courses. The application form can be filled online or downloaded from the official website of the university.

Follow these steps to apply for the courses provided by the SRM University, Sikkim. The Application Form can be filled online or can be downloaded from the official website of the university.

Admission to all the courses is being granted as per candidates’ marks in the last qualifying examination followed by counseling and document verification in university. Applicants who are looking for admission to MBA must appear for the SRMJEEM/ GMAT/ CAT/ MAT or CMAT.

• Online Application: Fill the application form and submit it directly to the university.
• Offline Application: Download the application form and send it to the university office along with necessary documents.

Documents Required:

• 10th, 10+2 & Graduation mark sheet along with the passing certificate
• Migration and Character Certificate
• Caste certificate (OBC/SC/ ST), if applicable.
• Entrance Exam Admit Card
• Entrance Exam Fee Receipt
• Entrance Exam Scorecard
• Proof of annual income of Parents from all sources (in the case of Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) quota candidates & SC candidates)
• 5 Colored Photographs

For Undergraduate program

• SRM University is offering 3- years, a full-time undergraduate program in different sectors.
• The university provides B.Sc., BBA, B.Com, BCA, BA, B.Vocat different specializations.
• The students who are looking for admission in any of the graduate programs must have gone through 10+2 from a recognized board with the appropriate total score.

For Postgraduate programme

• SRM University sikkimbids MBA, M.Com, M.Sc., MCA, and MA in numbers of specializations as a postgraduate programme.
• The students who complete their graduation with relevant aggregate from a recognized university qualify for the program.
• SRM University, Sikkim also extends Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Vocational Degree in Software Development and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. Fundamental eligibility applies for a Diploma program is having passed 10+2 or its equivalent.
• On The Other Hand, the minimum eligibility to apply for Advanced Diploma and Vocational Diploma is Bachelor’s Degree by a recognized University. The final selection of the candidates will be purely on the basis of Merit.

SRMUS 2024 Result

The scorecard is a significant document that will quote various details on the candidate’s name, roll number, parent’s name, category, state code of eligibility, marks coming from such, All India rank, Category wise rank, the qualification status, etc.

Candidates may be able to download their scorecards by online mode. No scorecard is sent to the candidate’s online mode.

SRMUS 2024 Admission Procedure

UG Admission

The minimum eligibility is a pass in 10+2 examination by an approved board or equivalent. Candidates have nominated the grounds of their marks in class X. Final admission is based on counseling undertaken by the university.

PG Admission 

At the postgraduate level, SRM University Sikkim tenders in response to MA, MBA, MCA (Regular+ Lateral), MPH, M.Sc & M.Com at various subjects in full-time function. Candidates with the appropriate bachelor’s degree can apply for admission to these courses. Merit is the only acceptance criteria.

For MBA,  a valid score in CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ SRMJEEM is mandatory. Final admission is granted after an interview round conducted by the university.

Diploma 

However, the minimum eligibility to request an Advanced Diploma and Vocational Diploma is a bachelor’s degree at an accredited University. The ultimate choice of nominees will be only on a foundation of Merit.

The admission process of SRM University is very straightforward and easy.

• The university provides an online and offline mode of application.
• The students who are looking for admission in any of the programs will be able to register themselves on the official website of the university.
• Students can also submit an application form to the university.
• The university checks the eligibility of the student for the enrolled course before the confirmation of admission.

Scholarships

The university offers the scholarship in three types:

• Founder’s Scholarship: This Scholarship is provided in the university toppers. School headgear with a 100% fee waiver and second topper with a 50% fee waiver shall be eligible for this scholarship.
• Sikkim National Scholarship:  There are several selected students who are selected by MHRD, they are given a 25% exemption in tuition fee.
• Employee Ward Scholarship: This scholarship is supplied to students who are in this ward of any employee of the university. They qualify for 50% of the waiver in the Tuition fee.
• The scholarships will be entry-level and only be provided for the first year of the course-work.
• The scholarship will be continued for the next year that is based on the previous year’s academic performance (without any break in studies).
• Every eligible student can apply for renewal of scholarship through the college’s website.
