IISER Tirupati Admission 2024 Application Form will be Released soon for Various Courses. Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Tirupati is also one of the IISER Institute which is situated in Andhra Pradesh. It is well known as IISER Tirupati and it was founded in 2015 by MHRD, Government of India. IISER Tirupati offers BS-MS (Dual Degree) Program Integrated Ph.D. and Ph.D. research program in Chemistry, Maths & Science, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth, and Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Chemical Engineering, and The Electrical Engineering& Computer Science.

The Government of India, through the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), has established seven Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs). These institutes are all located in Berhampur, Bhopal, Tirupati, Pune, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati.

The IISERs represent the unique initiative in India where teaching and education are integrated into state-of-the-art research, nurturing both curiosity and creativity in an intellectually vibrant atmosphere of research. Each IISER is an independent institution awarding its own Master and Doctoral degrees.

IISER Tirupati 2024 Application Form

IISER Tirupati Admission 2024 Application Form will be Released soon for Various Courses. IISER Tirupati admits students in the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Climate Sciences, and associated interdisciplinary areas of research. Aside from research, the program involves training courses and a teaching assistantship.

Please note that the precise qualifying criteria for January 2024 admissions may vary from division to department and are listed below. Information about individual faculty profiles and areas of research may be obtained from the IISER Tirupati website.

IISER Tirupati 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified at least ONE of aforementioned additional eligibility criteria
• Valid in a CSIR/UGC-JRF or CSIR/ UGC NET-LS or INSPIRE-Ph.D. fellowship
• IISER BS-MS (All IISERs) Dual degree students who hold down the CGPA >= 8.0.
• The fellowships/scores/ranks should be valid for at least till Jan 2024. Please note that the criteria for admission can change during the next round of admission.
• SC/ST, PD and KM (Kashmiri migrant) candidates percentage can be relaxed with 5% or 0.5 in question in the case of CGPA.
• Candidates during the final year of their qualifying degree are also entitled to apply. However, their final selection is subject to their successful conclusion of the qualifying degree with the above-mentioned requirements at the time of admission. A provisional degree certificate shall be compulsory at the time of admission (Scheduled to be 1st Jan 2024).

Admission Channel		Eligibility Criteria
KVPY Channel		Applying Seekers having a valid KVPY fellowship commencing from 2024-23 academic session are eligible to apply for admissions. Additional cut-off criteria may be applicable.
JEE Advanced Channel		Applying Seekers in General category securing a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2024 are eligible to apply. For candidates belonging to the reserved category (OBCNC, SC, ST, PD), their category rank should be within 10000.
SCB Channel		Aspirants who have passed (10+2) level with science stream in 2018 or 2024 with marks equal or above the cut-off percentage in their respective boards are eligible to apply for IAT 2024. Students applying through the SCB channel will have to appear in the IISER which will be conducted at various centers across the country.

For Biology

DBT-JRF-A / ICMR-JRF / DBT-BINC / ARS-NET (ICAR)/ UGC-CSIR JRF/ DST-INSPIRE For CSIR-LS rank-holders, up to rank 200 are eligible For DAE-JEST/GATE rank-holders, up to rank 300 (GATE Life Sciences) are eligible.

For Chemistry:

Earth & Climate Science	Students with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (overall percentage; with all subjects) or CGPA 6.0 out of 10-point scale in master degree in: Geology/ Geophysics/ Physics/ Meteorology/ Atmospheric science or any equivalent degree.	NET in Earth, Ocean, Atmospheric and Climate Science, Physics/ GATE in Geology and Geophysics (GG).

IISER Tirupati 2024 Cutoff

IISER Tirupati 2024 Admissions Process

One can get admission through three streams that are to say KVPY, JEE Advanced & State & Central Board. One must separately apply for IISER admissions. The IISER admissions 2024 will be carried out in three channels: JEE, KVPY, and SCB.

Candidates applying for JEE or KVPY channel will be invited for direct admissions at the same time as candidates opting for the SCB channel will have to appear for IISER Aptitude Test. For admission to Ph.D. Program, the students have to clear National level examination like GATE, NET, etc.

Selection Procedure:

The shortlisted candidates will be referred for the interview and final selection will be based on the interview performance. TA/DA will be provided to the SC/ST/PD students appearing for the interview as per institute norms.

Applying does not automatically guarantee that a candidate will be shortlisted for an interview. The respective departments are allowed to use supplementary criteria (based on academic performance and/or performance in the national level tests) to shortlist candidates for interviews.

Fellowship:

Upon selection and subsequently the accession to the Ph.D program, candidates that do not possess any CSIR, DBT & INSPIRE, will be eligible for institute fellowship at par with CSIR, DBT, etc., only without the HRA component.
