INO (Indian National Olympiad) 2021 Application Form will be released Soon. The applicants who want to participate in the International Science Olympiad in any specific subject need to apply for the Indian National Olympiad (INO 2021). As the Indian National Olympiad (INO 2021) is the second stage that comes after the NSE for the applicants to get direct entry into the International Science Olympiad. 

INO (Indian National Olympiad) will be organized by the official authorities of the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, TIFR, Mumbai. 

The official authorities will organize the INO (Indian National Olympiad) exam in two different languages so the applicant will get the option to select the language as per their comfort. The authority will organize the exam in a few places only so the applicant who will be applying will have to select the location at the time of registration.

  • The INO application form will be available on the official website. 
  • The applicant will not get the INO form in offline mode. 
  • Applicants will have to register themselves on the website by providing certain details. 
  • After registration, the applicants will get the credentials that will help them in the future. 
  • After that, the applicant will have to open the INO application form from the link available on the home page. 
  • All the details in the INO application form need to be entered such as personal, educational, academic, residentials, contact, and many more. 
  • Then the applicants will have to attach a photograph of passport size. 
  • Then the applicants may check the application fee and submit the form.

INO (Indian National Olympiad) 2021 Eligibility

For the details about the INO (Indian National Olympiad) 2021 Eligibility the applicants can go through the below details. 

For Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Astronomy

  • Nationality: Only Indian Citizens can apply. 
  • Age: The applicant who wants to apply must have born between July 1, 2000, and June 30, 2005. 
  • Recognition: The applicant who has not completed their studies from a university or institution before June 1, 2021, is eligible to apply. 

For Junior Science

  • Exam: The applicant who wants to apply for the INO must not have appeared for any of the exams of NSEA, NSEP, NSEB, NSEC. 
  • Nationality: Only Indian Citizens can apply for the INO. 
  • Age: The applicant who wants to apply must have born between January 1, 2005, and December 31, 2006. 

INO (Indian National Olympiad) 2021 Syllabus

Details related to the Syllabus for the preparation of the INO are as mentioned below. The applicant who wants to apply in Biology / Chemistry / Physics subjects may prepare as per the Senior Secondary Level syllabus(Class XII) of the CBSE Board. 

The applicant applying in Astronomy subjects may prepare as per the Senior Secondary Level syllabus(Class XII) of the CBSE Board in Physics and Mathematics. 

However, for the preparation of the Junior science applicant can prepare from the Secondary level (up to Class X) of the CBSE syllabus. 

INO (Indian National Olympiad) 2021 Selection

The official authorities who will conduct the INO (Indian National Olympiad) will be responsible to do the selection process of the applicants. The selection of the eligible applicants will be done based on the INO Performance

The official authorities will select every student for at least one Orientation Cum Selection Camp (OCSC). The selection will be done as per the order of preference declared by the student at the time of INO Registration. The OCSC will be conducted by the HBCSE.

INO (Indian National Olympiad) 2021 Results

The INO Results will be prepared by the official authorities who will be organizing the Olympiad for the applicants. The INO (Indian National Olympiad) 2021 Results will be updated on the official website for the reference of the applicants. 

Applicants will have to go to the website and get the INO (Indian National Olympiad) 2021 Results on the home page using the NSE Roll number and date of birth. After seeing the INO Results, the applicants need to download the Performance Card, Certificate of Merit, and letter of invitation from the website.

However, the authority will conduct the final selection process based on the eligibility criteria and the result for the Orientation-cum-Selection Camps (OCSCs). Then the final result which will be prepared will be updated on the HBCSE website (a separate link will be available). 

INO (Indian National Olympiad) 2021 Awards

The applicant who has scored higher than the cut-off mark will receive the Certificate of Merit from the authorities. But to get the certificate the applicant should score more than the cut-off marks set for the OCSC selection for a particular subject.

The certificate will be prepared by the official authorities. The applicants will get the certificates from the authorities at the HBCSE. The certificates will be given at the time of OCSCs. The applicants can also get the certificate by post later on.
