TANCET M.E/M.Tech 2023 Application Form

TANCET M.E/ M.Tech 2023 Application Form has been released. and those applicants are interested and eligible to get admission in M.E/M. Tech courses from the various colleges of Tamil Nadu State can fill out the application form through the following simple steps mentioned below.

• First of all, applicants need to go on the official webpage of Anna University, TANCET.
• After viewing the page, they have to click the ‘Register’ link provide the required information and press the ‘Next’ button.
• Applicants will get the TANCET secret key in their mobile till complete the application process.
• The login details will be provided to them to fill out the application form and confirm the details for verification.
• After that, they need to pay the application fee online as per concession under SC/ST/SCA categories.
• Applicants must click the ‘Status Check’ link in the menu bar to know their application status.
• By clicking on the link, applicants also have to click on the ‘Print Application’ button and in PDF format, it will display to them.
• They have to take a printout of the generated application for further reference only. 

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay 600/- (300/- for SC /SCA /ST Candidates) towards the entrance test fee and it can be filled through online mode only. 

TANCET M.E/M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria should be check by the candidates before applying in the TANCET examination. The applicants should be qualified from a recognized university with a bachelor’s degree and should have attained a minimum of 50 % (45% for reserved category students) in the qualifying degree examination.

• B.E/B.Tech./B.Arch. OR
• B.Pharm./ B.Sc. (Agri. / Forestry / Horticulture /Fishery) degree program OR
• Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which are prescribed
• 10+2+ AMIE* OR
• 10+3 years’ diploma (awarded by the state Board of Technical Education) + AMIE*

TANCET M.E/M.Tech 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates appearing in the TANCET M.E/M. Tech 2023 examination; they must have to prefer the exam pattern for the better preparation of the examination. 

TANCET M.E/M.Tech 2023 Syllabus

The TANCET M.E/M. Tech examination will have the questions asked from these sections 

• Part I of the question paper has 20 questions based on Engineering Mathematics. This part of the paper is the same for all 4 courses.
• Part II of the paper consists of 35 questions based on Basic Engineering and Sciences. Similar to Part I, this part is also the same across question papers of all 4 courses.
• The final part of Part III of the question paper has 60 questions. The questions in this part will be based on the subject chosen by the candidate. There are 23 subjects available for this section, from which a candidate can choose anyone.
• All the questions are multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each, with a negative marking of 1/3 marks for an incorrect answer. The time given is 2 hours.

TANCET M.E/M.Tech 2023 Admit Card

The TANCET M.E/M. Tech 2023 Admit Card will be available on the official site to the candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms.

To download the admit card, applicants must submit their User ID and Password. Admit card is the mandatory document which the candidates must carry at the examination centre. Candidates cannot enter the examination hall without an admit card. 

TANCET M.E/M.Tech 2023 Result

On the official website of Anna University, the TANCET M.E./M. Tech 2023 Results will be available on the official site, and those applicants have given the examination.

They can check their results online by submitting their e-mail ID and password in the required field. Applicants will call out for counselling sessions based on marks scored in the examination. 

TANCET M.E/M.Tech 2023 Counseling 

TANCET M.E/ M.Tech 2023 Rank List/Merit list Result will be available on the official site. The counselling procedure will be conducted through authority, and those candidates are shortlisted in the merit list as per their marks scored in an examination, they will call out for the counselling session.

To attend the counselling session, candidates will get a call letter, and applicants should download it to carry it with the required documents for verification.
