Uttarakhand Nursing 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

The criteria for each course differ from each other. Admission will be granted in ANM/ GNM/ B.Sc Nursing courses, therefore check the criteria as per your desired course:-

For GNM Course

• Qualifying examination requirements- 12th pass with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) with English as a compulsory subject.
• Vocational stream candidates- Candidates from the Vocational stream may also apply.
• Minimum marks requirements- 40% in qualifying examination.
• NIOS candidates– NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) candidates can also apply.
• The applicant must be registered with the State Nursing Council as ANM.

For ANM Course

• Qualifying examines the action requirement- 12th pass in Arts (Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Biology, Economics, History, Political science, Business Studies, Geography, Home Science, Accountancy, Sociology, Philosophy, and Psychology).
• Subject requirement– English core/ elective at 12th level or science or health care science.
• Vocational stream candidates– Candidates with a Vocational stream may also apply given that they have obtained the degree from a recognized board.
• NIOS candidates– National Institute of Open Schooling candidates, can also apply.

For B.Sc. Nursing

• Qualifying exam requirement- 12th pass from a recognized board
• Subjects– 12th pass with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) with English as a compulsory subject.

• Minimum marks requirements- 50% in qualifying examination taken together in PCB.

For B.Sc Post Basic Nursing

• Qualifying examination– candidate must have passed GNM after the 12th class
• Subject requirement– 12th pass with Science subject
• SNRC registered- the applicants must be registered with the State Nursing Registration Council as a Nurse or Midwife.

For M.Sc Nursing

• Qualifying examination requirement- pass B.Sc/ Post Basic B.Sc./ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognized Indian Nursing Council.
• Minimum marks requirement- 50% marks in aggregate.
