Army Institute of Nursing, Guwahati was well-known in the year 2006 under the support of Army Welfare Education Society. The university does not organize any separate entrance exam for the applicants.

Applicants are instructed to fill and submit the duly filled application form if they want to get admission in Adesh university and its affiliated colleges in different courses like B.Sc. (nursing)/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing/ M.Sc. Nursing/ General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) courses. Adesh University Nursing 2020 Application Form

  • It will be available in online mode on the official website of the university.
  • Applicants need to register on the official website by filling some personal details, like name, phone number, and email ID.
  • After the registration is successful, each applicant will have to fill the form.
  • At the time of filing the application form, applicants need to enter personal details, academic qualification details, etc. in the application form.
  • After filing the application form successfully, authorities will send registration number and password to the applicants by mail on the registered email Id.
  • Applicants need to keep the registration number and password safely till the time of admission as it will be used later.
  • After that applicants need to upload scanned images of photograph and signature in the given format mentioned on the official website of the university.
  • Then applicants need to take a printout of the duly filled application form and submit the form.

Application Fee

  • The application fee for M.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing and Post Basic B.SC. Nursing course is Rs 3000/-.
  • However, applicants who want to appear for GNM Course needs to pay Rs 2500/- as application fee.
  • Rs 2100/- is the application fee for the applicants who are applying for M.Sc., Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Library, and Paramedical courses.
  • The application fee for Ph.D. courses is Rs 5000/- for the applicants.

Adesh University Nursing 2020 Eligibility Criteria

 Here we have mentioned below all the information about the eligibility criteria for the reference of the applicants:

Age criteria:

  • Applicants must be above the age of 17 years at the time of admission.
  • The maximum age limit for the applicants is 35 years at the time of admission.

Educational qualification:

  • For M.Sc. course applicants must have passed B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course from a known university or board recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
  • For B.Sc. Course one must have passed HSC exam in science stream from a recognized board or university.

Work experience:

  • For M.Sc. Course applicants must have minimum one-year work experience prior to or after basic B.Sc. Nursing course.

Registration with the State Nursing Council:

  • One must be a registered nurse or registered midwife or any equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

Compulsory subjects:

  • One must have physics, chemistry, biology along with English as mandatory subjects in the HSC exams.

Qualifying marks:

  • General category applicants must score more than 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Reserved category applicants should score minimum 40% marks in the qualifying exam.

Medical fitness:

  • Applicants must be medically fit at the time of admission.

Adesh University Nursing 2020 Counseling

Admission will be given to the applicants on the basis of the merit list only. Merit list will be prepared by the official authorities once the application forms are received. Authorities will prepare a merit list of the applicants on the basis of the information provided by the applicant about the marks scored in past academics exams. Merit list will be available on the official website of the university for the reference of the applicants.

Applicants need to submit all necessary documents (original and attested copies) to the university for verification process in the counseling round. Applicants will get back all the original documents from the official authorities once the verification process is completed. After that official authorities will allot seats to the applicants who are qualified for the admission.

Qualified applicants who got the seats in the university are instructed to report to the allotted college for the verification

  • Proof of age as it appears on the mark sheet of SSC/ equivalent examination.
  • Certificate of passing the (10+2) CBSE/ equivalent examination.
  • Marks sheet of passing the (10+2) CBSE/equivalent qualifying examination.
  • School/ Institute leaving certificate.
  • Migration certificate from CBSE/ State Board/ University.
  • Medical certificate as prescribed in the form.
  • Gap certificate from school/college (if applicable).
  • Graduation Mark sheet and Internship Certificate (for M.Sc course applicants).
  • Experience Certificate issued by the employer (for M.Sc).
