Allahabad University M.Ed 2024 Application Form

The application form for admission to Allahabad University M.Ed Entrance Test will be launched on the official website. The applicant will have to take due care while filling up the online application form. Information submitted by the complainant in their online application form will not be changed under any circumstances. Candidates should first register themselves, as soon as they have the login ID and password now they can fill out the full application form and upload the necessary paperwork.

• Information provided and the data supplied by the applicant through the Online Registration/Application Form retained for the University for only 90 days from the date of the declaration of the result of the Entrance/Admission Test

Application Fee

Rs. 1500/- (One Thousand Five Hundred) in case of GENERAL/OBC candidate countries and the

Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Fifty) in case SC/ST and PH are the nominees.

Allahabad University M.Ed 2024 Eligibility Criteria

It is always advised to candidates to first check the criteria for eligibility and then apply for the entrance exam.

• Candidates seeking entrance to the M.Ed. program should have obtained at least 50% marks or a similar grade in B.Ed. from the institute recognized by NCTE. Reservation and relaxation for S.C./S.T./O.B.C./P.W.D. and other applicable categories need to be as per the rules of the Central Government. Must exist rest in the minimum qualifying marks of 5% for S.C./S.T./O.B.C./P.W.D. (General candidate should secure 50% or more marks whereas S.C./S.T./O.B.C./P.W.D. should a safe 45% or more marks in B.Ed. examination).
• Computed Marks’ means, the marks allocated to the nominee, by provisions of these Ordinances and the Regulations made thereunder on the grounds of his score in the Admission Test for determining his position in the order of merit to the Admissions to the M.Ed. Course
• Candidates seeking admission to M.Ed. Program Should have received a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in B.Ed. from an institution that is recognized in NCTE. Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other applicable categories shall be as per rules of Central Govt
• There shall be relaxation in minimum qualifying marks of 5% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD(General candidate would need to secure 50% or multiple marks whereas SC/ST/OBC/PWD should secure 45% or more marks in B.Ed. exam)

Allahabad University M.Ed 2024 Admit card

The admit card will only be placed on the eligible candidates and for those who have filled out properly and submitted their online application form.

Candidates may download their admit card from their login. Candidates need their Login Id and password to download their admit card.

Admit card is a significant paper for the candidates as no candidate would be allowed to enter the exam centre without a proper M.Ed admit card.

Applicants must carry a printout of the admit card along with the valid photo Id proof to the exam center.

Mode of Examination – Online mode

No. of Questions – 150

Type of Questions – MCQ

Marking Scheme – +2 for correct answer and -0.5 for wrong answer

Duration – 2 Hours

Maximum Marks – 300

Allahabad University M.Ed 2024 Result

The results for the entrance exam will be declared while online. Candidates need their login Id and password to download their results.

The result will be declared in the form of a scorecard. The scorecard contains total marks guaranteed by the candidate in the exam.

Based on the scores obtained a merit list will be prepared and candidates will be called for the counseling round. Candidates should take a printout of their scorecard as it should be used at the time of the admission process.

Reservations

The following percentages of the approved seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the scheduled castes (SC) the Scheduled Tribes (ST) and the OBC.

For candidates belonging to SC: 15%

For Candidates belonging to ST: 7.5%

OBC : 27%

If a candidate which belongs to any of the categories given in clause (a) gets selected for admission based on merit with unreserved (i.e. general) category candidates, he will not be regulated as opposed to the seats reserved for the said categories.
