The AP DEECET (Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education Elementary Test) is organized through the Commissioner of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh to offer admission to the applicants in D.Ed. course and it is 2 years course of diploma level.

Candidates wishing to get admission in this course, they can apply in AP DEECET examination by filling the application form through online mode only. On the basis of eligibility criteria, applicants can appear in this examination by applying on the provided schedule.

AP DEECET Application Form 2024

Application Form of AP DEECET details with some points as mentioned below for all those candidates, who are wishing to get admission in the 2-year D.Ed. course.

• From the 2nd week of  May 2024, the AP DEECET Application Form will be available till the 4th week of May 2024.
• The Last Date to Submit the Application Form is the 4th week of  May 2024. 
• On the official website of the Commissioner of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, it will be available through online mode.
• Applicants wishing to get admission in a 2-year D.Ed. course at the colleges of Andhra Pradesh State can apply online mode only.
• Only the eligible candidates can apply for this test.
• In the application form, applicants must have to fill in all the correct and complete details.
• Be prepared with all the documents which are needed to fill the application form.

• 12th class certificate and mark sheets

• Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.500 through online mode.
• Payment of application fee through online mode using debit card/credit card / net banking.

AP DEECET Eligibility Criteria

It is mandatory for all the appearing candidates to check their eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Eligibility criteria include age criteria, nationality, qualification, and relaxation. The details of the eligibility criteria are mentioned below for the candidates who are going to apply.

• Age: The age of the candidates should be 17 years as of 1 September of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit to apply in this examination.
• Nationality: Applicants must belong to Indian Citizenship they must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh and also should satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements.
• Qualification: The applicants must be qualified with 50 % marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.
• Reserved Category Candidates: They should be qualified with a minimum of 50% marks and 45% marks must be secured by the SC/ ST/ PH category candidates.

Subject Wise Eligibility

• Mathematics: Those who have studied Mathematics as a subject at the Intermediate level.
• Physical Science: Those who have studied Physics & Chemistry as subjects at the Intermediate level
• Biological Science: Those who have studied Botany & Zoology as subjects at the Intermediate level
• Social Studies: Those who have studied any of two subjects out of Civics, Economics, History, Geography, and Commerce at the Intermediate level.
