JNTU Kakinada was responsible for determining eligibility criteria for AP EAMCET 2019. For admissions to available B.Tech technical positions, it was important that candidates met AP EAMCET 2019 eligibility criteria.

Age, nationality, The home, education and other factors of the candidate must be similar to the eligibility criteria of AP EAMCET 2019.

All the required requirements must be met by the candidates. The application form for ineligible candidates has been rejected by the AP EAMCET admissions authorities. Therefore, all applicants were invited to verify AP EAMCET 2019 eligibility criteria before completing the application form and submitting it.

AP EAMCET exam to provide admissions in several professional UG courses offered by various colleges and universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

These courses are offered in the field of engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture. Here, in this article, applicants can verify AP EAMCET 2019 eligibility information.

Age Criteria:

For engineering and pharmacy courses, students must have completed 16 years age as or on 31st December of the year of admission. No upper age limitation for these courses.

  • For B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (FS & T), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering) and B.Sc. (CA & BM) courses candidates should cross the minimum age limit of 17 years as or on 31st December of the year of admission and 22 years age maximum age limit for general and 25 years for SC and ST candidates.
  • For Pharm-D course, candidates should have completed 17 years age as or on 31st December of the year of admission.

You should have qualified or presented for the last year of the Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 standard) made by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana with Physics and Mathematics and Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the field of Engineering.

Candidates who have qualified any other exam recognized as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana were also named eligible for admission.

Qualification Criteria: 

Candidates must have passed or appeared in the final year of the 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects.

  • Candidates who have completed or appearing in Diploma in Engineering courses can also apply.
  • For Pharm-D course, students should have passed or appeared in the final year of 12th or equivalent class from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects as optional.
  • Diploma in Pharmacy candidates can also apply for Pharm-D course.
  • Students must obtain 45% marks for general candidates and 40% marks for reserved category in the core subjects.

Eligibility for Agriculture & Medical Courses:

The eligibility criteria for B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.Sc. (Hort) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FS&T), B.Pharma courses are given here:

Nationality:

Candidates must be an Indian Citizen, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

  • Aspirants must belong to Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.
  • The candidates should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

Qualification Criteria:

For B.Pharma, candidates should have cleared or appeared in the final year of the intermediate with Biology, Chemistry & Physics subjects.

  • For agriculture Courses, students must have passed or appeared in the 12th or equivalent exam with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below:

B.Sc.(Ag.) & B.Sc.(Hort):

  • Physical Sciences
  • Biological or Natural Sciences
  • Agriculture
  • Vocational Course in Agriculture

B.V.Sc. & A.H:

  • Physical sciences
  • Biological or Natural Sciences
  • Vocational Courses in Veterinary Sciences

B.F.Sc:

  • Vocational Courses in Fishery Sciences

B.Tech. (FS & T), B.Pharmacy & Pharm-D:

Age Criteria:

  • Candidates should have completed 17 years age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
  • The upper age limit is 22 years for all candidates and 25 years in respect of SC/ST candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission.
  • For B.Pharma, candidates must have completed 16 years age by the date of starting of admission.

AP EAMCET 2019 Reservation of Seats

A certain percentage of seats in the participating colleges of AP EAMCET are reserved for the candidates of the underprivileged section. These include SC, ST, PWD, and OBC. The relaxation provided to them is based on government norms.
