Admission Procedure

Admissions to Mumbai are offered nationwide and on the state entrance test. Admission is made based on the candidate’s performance on the entrance test. Candidates receive their headquarters at the university through a consultancy process.

Admission Test

Admission to engineering courses is offered based on entrance examinations at the national level (JEE Main) and the state level (MH CET). Most universities accept the MH CET marker for admission to the B.Tech course. Applicants also apply for the university-level exam, such as BVP CET. Candidates are not considered for counselling and admission without showing up on the entrance examination. The GATE entrance exam offers admission to M.Tech.

The application form for JEE Main can be completed as of the first week of December of each year. The eligibility criteria required to appear on the entrance examination are the following:

Candidates must pass exam number 12 or the equivalent of a recognized table.
Physics, mathematics and any (chemistry/biology/biotechnology / professional technique) are the necessary subjects that they have in the qualification exam.
The minimum grades are 45% (40% for candidates in the reserved category).
Candidates whose results are expected may also apply.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be pre-selected for the meeting based on merit prepared by the respective authority. The places in the engineering schools will be awarded based on the classification obtained by the candidates for the entrance examination and the availability of places.

The counselling process will include online registration, the course and university completion, the allocation of vacancies and reports to the designated university. After verification of the document, the authority will issue the letter of attribution of the seat to the candidate. This award letter lets applicants inform the designated institution and present the admission fees.
