BAOU B.Ed 2023: Application Form, Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus

Dr. B.R Ambedkar Open University offers online applications for Admission into B.Ed. and B.Ed. (Special Education) Programs through Entrance Test for the academic year 2023-21.

A vast number of applicants applied to and appeared exam, now they all await BAOU BEd Result Merit List and cut off.

By the official updates, the result will be available in December on an official website. Candidates can check their results through the below link.

• Information brochure can be downloaded at www.brace.ac.in and www.braouonline.in
• Candidates should register on the www. braouonline.in only and pay the fee of Rs.400/- by Debit/Credit card through university website OR pay an amount of Rs.435/- at any TS /AP Online Franchise Centre and obtain the receipt
• Candidate must choose the Exam Centre [i.e., any one of the Regional Coordination Centres (RCC) of the University] in line with their choice to appear for the Entrance test

• Registration Fee for B.Ed. – Rs.435/- (Payment through TS/AP Online) or Rs.400/- (Payment through Debit /Credit Card)
• Registration Fee for B.Ed. (SE) – Rs.435/- (Payment through TS/AP Online) or Rs.400/- (Payment through Debit /Credit Card)

BAOU B.Ed 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• B.Ed.- ODL (Recognized by NCTE) [Duration 2 years]
• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Candidates should have passed with at least 50% of marks either BA/B.Sc./B.Com./BCA/B.Sc. (Home Science)/BBM and/or the Master’s Degree in Commerce/Social Sciences/Humanities /Sciences (the relevant subject of Methodology) at the time of a petition for B.Ed. Entrance Test
• Candidates should have ensured a minimum of 55% marks in B.E/B. Tech. with Science/ Mathematics as one of the subjects or any other qualification equivalent to that directive, is eligible for admission into the B.Ed. ODL Program.
• A bachelor or classy degree from a familiar university, and Two years full while regular coaching experience on a temporary/perpetual basis as Primary/Graduate/Post Graduate Teachers in key, secondary/higher/senior secondary school recognized with the central or state government or a combination land are entitled to take admittance.
• On The Other Hand, claimants belonging to SC/ST/BC/PH will be required to have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying exam.
• Candidates who are appearing for the final year exam in the Qualifying Exam (Bachelor or a Higher Degree) can even apply. Though, they should be obliged to submit marks invoice and pass certificate of Qualifying Exam at the time of Admission Counselling. Otherwise, they are not allowed on admission.
• Addition to the above, the candidates must meet any one of the following circumstances as per NCTE-2014 New Regulations
• Need to be trained in-service teachers in elementary education. (NCTE a recognized teacher education completed in-service Teachers in primary school i.e. working in Govt/Aided/ MPP/PZP/Govt. Recognized schools)
• Must have completed the NCTE recognized Teacher Education Program through face-to-face regime (TTC/D.Ed./D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed./TPT/HPT/UPT/B.P.Ed./D.P.Ed.-Qualification is must)

Age Limit

Candidate must have completed the 21 years as on 01st July 2019; no upper age limit (The booking for SC/ST/BC/PH categories need to be as per current regulations)

Syllabus

The Entrance Test Question Paper will have 3 parts for 100 Marks with 100 Objective types (Multiple Choice) questions.

Part-I: General English Comprehension (25 Marks)

Part-II: Proficiency in Telugu ( 25 Marks)

Candidates have been advised to download the Hall Tickets from the University website www.braouonline.in. Hall Tickets will be available at the University website two days before the Entrance Examination.

BAOU B.Ed Admission 2023

Admission in B.Ed at BAOU intends to be made by the candidate should submit the filled-in application form with the certified copy of documents as specified in Entrance-cum-Admission Form. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) has will free up the notification for eligible applicants for admission into B.ed Programmes through Entrance Test. All the Government Seats shall be filled in based on the merit list compiled by the BAOU Exam Department.

Medium: English and Telugu

• Choose the area of specialization in your B.Ed. (SE) Program, while submitting the registration form:
• Visual Impairment (VI)
• Mental Retardation (MR)
• Hearing Impairment (HI)

Tuition Fee

Rs.30000/- for the whole program of two and half years (i.e. 5 Semesters). Applicant is permitted to pay Fee in two installments

The first installment of Rs.15000 must be paid at the time of Admission and the Second Instalment of Rs. 15000 is payable in the form of a Demand Draft on the first teaching day (Workshop) of the 3rd Semester.
