• After filling the application form, along with the entire enclosures and a DD/Online Payment for Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in order to SC/ST/PD/Females Candidate) drawn in favour of ‘Registrar, BGU’, payable at “kotdwar”, to The Admission manager Bhagwant Global University, Kotdwar (UK)
• Following the receipt of the application, an acknowledgment will be emailed.
• Information given by a candidate in the application for all of the options chosen must be uniform and correct.
• In case of any difference in observed data relating to marks, the proportion, domicile, age, etc., his/her candidature is liable to be canceled at any stage even after the admission.

Bhagwant University has begun Doctoral Programmes in the year 2009. PhD Programmes in the University are offered for the different specializations notified at the moment of admission.

The Doctoral Studies and Research Cell (Ph.D. Cell) is the co-ordinating administrative entity for the PhD programs offered by the foundational faculties of the University.

Bhagwant Global University 2024 Admission Procedure

The University will be inviting applications from the candidates through advertisement in the media and or on the website. Candidates, who plan to register for Ph.D. have to apply in due proforma.

On the receipt of applications, an entrance test will be conducted for the eligible candidates irrespective of number of applications received, which will be followed by an interview by a committee consisting of the Director, Doctoral Studies & Research, Dean of the faculty concerned, Head of the Department(s) and a domain expert. Component’sthe relative weight of the selection is as under while bringing a current selection.

• Academic Record: 30% | Admission
• Weightage for Entrance Test: 35% | Process

The list for candidates chosen for the admission will be been formulated on the basis of aggregate marks of both constituents (i) academic record and (ii) entrance test. After admission, the candidate will have to make a research plan presentation carrying a weightage of 35%.

Weightage for Research Plan Interview: 35% The candidate who does not fulfill 40% marks in written test, 40% marks in personal interview and 50% marks in the aggregate will not be considered for Registration and their admission may be withdrawn.

Provided however that the candidates who have passed the National Level Test like UGC/CSIR(JRF) examination / NET / SLET / GATE/teacher fellowship holder, M.Phil, etc or its equivalent shall be exempted from appearing in the test and they will be considered deemed to have earned 35% score in the written test.

On the recommendation of the agency’s committee, admission will be carried out on payment of the prescribed fee following the approval of the VC. The Committee will also assign the guide for each candidate selected.
