BHU RET 2024 Application form will be started soon. Banaras Hindu University Research Entrance Test is well known as BHU RET. Ithe Banaras Hindu University conducts it. It is a National Level entrance exam.

This exam is held annually to offer admission to Doctor of Philosophy/Vidyāvāridhi Degree in various disciplines like Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Agronomy, Food Science & Technology, Horticulture, Genetics & Plant Breeding, etc.

BHU RET 2024 Application Form

Candidates can go through the BHU RET 2024 application form details, which we have mentioned below:   

• To seek admission in offer, Doctor of Philosophy/Vidyāvāridhi Degree courses, students who are eligible have to fill out the application form, which can be fill-up out online mode. 
• The submission should be made of fill-up form on or before 1st week of October 2024
• Candidates can register for the Application form on the entrance test websites of BHU online in online mode.  
• After that, scanned photographs & Signatures will be needed to upload 100 KB in jpg format.

Application Fee:

• Candidates belonging to SC/ST category have to submit Rs.400/-, and for the General candidates is 800/- as application fees.  
• Payment can be remit via online mode via Net Banking, Credit card or ATM-cum-Debit card or offline mode by cash at any branch of HDFC Bank through the Challan (download from Entrance Portal).

BHU RET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following details regarding BHU RET 2024 Eligibility Criteria for admission:  

• Nationality:  India National candidates are eligible to apply.
• Qualification details: Candidates who want to apply need to hold a Master’s degree in (Life Sciences and its allied disciplines) from any Indian University/Institution recognized by UGC. Or Master’s Degree in any one subject from (Applied Microbiology, Botany, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Genetics, Microbiology, Molecular & Human Genetics, Environmental Sciences, Neuroscience, Plant Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Zoology, Biosciences, and Animal Sciences and other Life Science disciplines).  
• Percentage: candidates have to pass a qualifying degree by securing a minimum of 55% marks as aggregate or equivalent grade point average in the exam and a minimum academic record of 50.

How to Apply 

Here we have mentioned the complete procedure to apply for BHU RET 2024 Application Form:  

• On the official web portal at online.in, candidates can obtain the information prospects and registration form. 
• Candidates who fulfil all conditions or are likely to satisfy the relevant eligibility criteria requirements for admission in offer courses can only apply for entrance & subsequently, for admission to the desired course. 
• The details that need to be filled in are applier’s Full name, date of birth, category, gender, domicile, details of a qualifying exam, marks secured, Mobile number, correspondence address, and permanent address.  
• Provide the documents of mark sheet of SSC, HSC mark sheet and certificate, degree of the master certificate, etc.  
• Pay the application fees after filling in details & uploading the scanned latest image & signature of applicants.
• Candidates must take the printout of the confirmation page and keep it for further future use.
