BITS MCA 2024 Application Form has been released on 23rd February 2024. The Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, conducts this entrance exam.

The entrance exam is conducted online; mode means computer-based tests. Candidates can get admission through the entrance exam into a 3-year (6-semester) full-time MCA program offered at its campuses in – Mesra, Jaipur, Lalpur, and Noida. Candidates will be shortlisted for different programs on the basis of marks obtained in this online test. The dates are yet to be declared.

BITS MCA 2024 Application Form

The BITS MCA 2024 Registration has been Released. To get admission candidates to have to give BITS MCA Entrance Exam. For that candidates have to fill BITS MCA 2024 Application Form.

Candidates can fill out applications online, and they have to click on the link on the official website that lets aspirants create a ‘username’ and ‘password’ when prompted.

Candidates are strictly advised not to share these details with anyone. Candidates have to send a printout of the completed Application Form along with the required documents in an A4 size envelope via speed-post to the office of Dean, Admissions & Academic Coordination, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi – 835215.

 Application Fee

Candidates should complete and submit the Application Form online before the due dates mentioned. Candidates have to pay application fees Rs.2,500/- those are General / OBC category and Rs.1,500/- (for SC/ST candidates. Application fees can pay through State Bank Collect (any nationalized bank). Once payment is made it will be not refunded back.

• Candidates have to pay the application fee through State Bank Collect (any nationalized bank).
• Candidates have to pay Rs. 2,500/- For (General/OBC).
• For SC/ST candidates, the application fee is Rs. 1,500/-.
• The fee is non-refundable.

BITS MCA 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for BITS, MCA Entrance Exam candidates have to look at full eligibility criteria. Candidates need to check tests whether they are eligible to apply or not. To ask for admission Candidates must pass in Class 12 / Equivalent Examination with Mathematics / Computer Science as one of the subjects.

And must pass in a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification of any universities or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India / AIU. Take a look at eligibility criteria to provide as per the different programmers.

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must pass 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates should hold the Bachelor’s Degree in BCA, B.Sc with Mathematics/Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Statistics, B.E in Computer Science/IT.

Minimum Marks: The minimum marks required for graduation are 55% for general and 50% marks for reserved category.

Subjects: Candidates should be passed the 12th examination in Mathematics and Science.

Appearing Candidates: Appearing candidates can also apply.

BITS MCA Exam Pattern 2024

Candidates have to complete the paper within two hours. No extra time will be given to any candidate. The exam is conducted in online mode. The question paper comprises of 120 multiple choice objective questions. Each question, four options will be provided from that candidates have to select one correct answer.

For each correct answer candidates will be awarded four marks. And for every question answered incorrectly, one mark will be deducted. No marks for any question not attempted. In paper Total, 120 questions will be asked. The question asked will be from 4 divided sections.

• Mode of Exam: Exam will be conducted through online mode.
• Duration of Exam: The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
• Type of Question: The question paper will be of Multiple Choice Type.
• Marking Scheme: Candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct response.
• Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted from the total score for each incorrect answer.

It makes a necessary mention that these centers will become up with exams only when there are a large number of students appearing on it.

BITS MCA 2024 Syllabus

From Section A, Mathematics 60 questions will be asked; in section B Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning- 20, Section C, Computer Awareness 20; and Section D, English 20 questions will be asked, which will be objective type in BITS MCA entrance exam.

BITS MCA Admit Card 2024

BITS MCA 2024 Admits Cards will be available on the official website of the exam. Admit cards will be issued by the authority in May. Through online mode, candidates will download the admit cards.

Candidates can download the admit cards for those who have completed and submitted their exam application forms before the last date. Candidates will be allotted a test centre, date and time slot for the BITS MCA 2024 entrance exam.

If in case candidates are unable to download the admit card, they will have to contact BITS Mesra’s admissions office by phone or fax. Candidates are informed that the BITS MCA Admit Card is not transferable to any other person.

BITS MCA Entrance Exam 2024 Result

The authority will make BITS MCA Results available on the official website. Candidates are shortlisted for admission by marks secured by them in the entrance exam. Candidates will be able to download the results from the exam website.

The result will be notified on the Institute website and in June’s Notice Boards at BIT Mesra / concerned Campus.

BITS MCA Counseling 2024

Authority will prepare a merit list of the applicants and will select applicants on the basis of the marks scored by them in the entrance exam. In the month of June, applicants can see the merit list in online or offline mode.

Applicants can see the merit list on the official website of the university or they can visit the campus notice board. If the candidate has submitted false document, their application will be direct cancelled.

A merit list will be prepared on the bases of the score ranks of a candidate in the official portal. An invited candidate must carry all original requirements document with them for verification purposes.
