Chitkara University HP 2024 Application Form has been Released on 1st April 2024 for UG & PG Courses. Chitkara University was formed in 2008 in accordance with the UGC act of 1956. The University is managed by Chitkara Educational Trust. This is a NAAC-accredited Government -acknowledged by the University. It has two schools under its management namely Chitkara School of Engineering and Technology, Chitkara, and School of Hospitality Management.

Chitkara University bids are ME and Ph.D. programs in various specializations. The University also suggests 3-year B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.

Chitkara University HP 2024 Application Form has been Released on 1st April 2024 for UG & PG Courses. The applications with appropriate and the correct details were accepted by the concerned authority whereas applications with incorrect details were directly turned down. The Application Form had to be filled online mode only. Check the step-by-step procedure to apply-

• Visit the official website.
• Click at the ‘Apply Online’ link.
• You will be able to see the Intermediate page which prompted ‘New Registration’ or ‘Login’.
• Now, please enter a name, DOB, Gender, Mobile Number, Email Id and click on ‘Register’.
• After that, you receive an SMS on the registered mobile number with a user ID and password.
• The link for the login page is sent to candidates registered email Id.
• Click on the sent link and enter login information.
• The personal details and educational qualifications the information page will be opened.
• Fill out all the necessary details and exam the city center. Subsequently, click on the ‘Save and Next’ button.
• Uploading passport size image and signature as you click on ‘Click here to Upload’ button.
• Now, make payment by choosing a payment mode and pay a fee.
• Following a successful payment, submit the final application form.
• Take the printout of the application form at the last.

Application Fee:

The application fee of INR 1100/- should be sent with the form through Demand Draft, drawn in favor of Chitkara University due to be paid at Chandigarh.

Documents Required:

• Attested Certificate and Mark sheet of Class X & XII.
• Migration Certificate from the last Board/ University.
• Two most recent passport-sized color photographs with your name & date of birth clearly written on the reverse.
• Copy of Rank Card/in case result is not yet proclaimed a copy of Admit Card for class 12th & JEE-MAINS 2018 is compulsory (for only those B.E. admission)
• An affidavit signed jointly by the Executive Magistrate/ Notary is required in case of a gap in studies.
• Character Certificate from the institution last took part.
• Medical Fitness Certificate from the authorized medical centers.

B.Sc. Course – The admission process for the B.Sc. course is being carried out by the University and is based on the merit obtained by the applicant in qualifying examinations.

ME Admission

The university is offering two years full time ME program in three areas. The PG course is offered in the Chitkara School of Engineering and Technology.

The candidate seeking admission for the ME program had to do a BE/ B.Tech. with 55% marks or other equivalent CGPA in the qualifying examination from a recognized University.

Ph.D. Program

Chitkara University offers a Ph.D. program in four academic fields. The candidate seeking admission for Ph.D. must have been done ME/M. Tech in relevant discipline with a minimum of 6.5 CPI or 60% marks (or) must have made B.Tech./BE (other than IIT) with a minimal 8.0 CPI or 75% marks or Bachelor’s Degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with minimum 7.0 CPI or M.Sc. in this field with minimum CPI 7.5.

B.Sc. Program

Chitkara University offers a 3-year full-time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration at the UG level. The course is being offered in the chinkara School of Hospitality Management.

The minimum eligibility for B.Sc. is a candidate must have spent 10+2 in the science stream from the recognized board.
