CIFE Admission 2024 Application Form has been Released through NTA CUET 2024. CIFE is referred to as the Central Institute Of Fisheries Education it is a Deemed University it was established in the year 1961.

Candidate needs to get registered for their application for that Candidates have to fill CIFE 2024 application form online on the official website. Fill and apply the due dates as mentioned.

• Authority will provide the Central Institute Of Fisheries Education Application Form 2024 on the official website.
• Candidates must keep the CIFE 2024 application form, acknowledgement slip & fee payment Challan.
• The Central Institute Of Fisheries Education University will provide the application forms for different courses.
• CIFE 2024 Application form will be provided on online and offline mode.

Documents Required:

• Proof of date of birth.
• Matriculation (Xth ) or equivalent certificate and mark sheet.
• 10+2/intermediate/pre-university/pre-degree examination/higher secondary certificate and mark sheet.
• Bachelor’s degree certificate and mark sheet
• Scheduled Caste/Tribe Certificate in the proforma as at Annexure-II of Information Bulletin from District Magistrate or the authorities empowered to issue such a certificate of verification issued not more than six months before the date of application
• For in-service candidates, Sponsorship Certificate (Annexure-III of Information Bulletin)

CIFE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before apply candidates need to check complete eligibility criteria of the CIFE 2024 exam check whether you are eligible to apply for it or not. Candidates have to satisfy the given below eligibility criteria including Nationality, Residential & Qualification, etc. after that candidates will be able to apply.

For Master of Fisheries Science (Aquaculture, Aquatic Environment Management & Fisheries Resources & Management)

• Candidates must possess the Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science (B.F.SC.) with minimum of 60% marks or OGPA of 6.50 out of 10, or 2.60 out of 4.00 for general and for SC, ST categories must have 55% aggregate or OGPA of 6.00 out of 10, 3 out of 5.00 or 2.40 out of 4.00). Aspirants must have age limit 19 years old as of 31st July. If you are in-service candidates then the minimum eligibility is B.F.Sc. Contenders must have 5 years’ experience in the state department service and pass the deficiency course of 1 year prior to joining the program.

For Ph.D. (Aquatic Environment Management, Fisheries Resources & Management & Post-harvest Technology)

• Contenders must have passed M.F.Sc, M.Sc. with the minimum eligibility of Overall Grade Point Average 7 out of 10 and 3.5 out of 5 for General, OBC category. For SC, ST the OGPA marks are 6.5 out of 10 and 3.25 out of 5. Aspirants must have a minimum age limit for admission is 22 years as of 31st July. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science and two years’ experience in fisheries development. If candidates are among the sponsored candidates and possess a degree in M.F.Sc. in fish and fisheries and related disciplines with a minimum of two years of experience are required.

CIFE 2024 Application Process 

Firstly, Candidates are required to register themselves through online/offline mode. The candidate’s application will be registered only after filling the form and paying the fees successfully of CIFE 2024. Check the steps below to help candidates fill out the CIFE 2024 application form.

Application in M.F.Sc:

Candidates seeking application in the M.F.Sc program offered by M.F.Sc need to check the official website of CIFE.

Application in Ph.D.:

• Candidates looking for online application for the Ph.D. program are advised to go through the official website
• Only one application can be submitted by an applicant
• Candidates will require to provide the proof of online fees paid in the online application process. Therefore, they need to pay the application fees before filling the form. Candidates may pay the fees online here

For Master of Fisheries Science (Aquaculture, Aquatic Environment Management & Fisheries Resources & Management)

• Contenders can download the application form from the Central Institute of Fisheries Education Official website.
• Aspirants have to submit along with a DD of Rs.300/-
• If you are sending the cash by post a crossed demand draft of Rs.350/- will be required.
• Candidate has to send the DD in favor of ICAR unit – CIFE Payable at State Bank of India, Versova Branch, Mumbai.
