CIFNET is referred to as the Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training it is conducted every year for candidates.

This exam is managed by the Department of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry of the Government of India. It is a national level examination through this aspirants can enter into Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science) and Vessel Navigator Course (VNC)/ Marine Filter Course (MFC).

CIFNET 2024 Application Form

Candidates can go through the application form details which we have mentioned below:

• Firstly, candidates have to register themselves for CIFNET 2024 Exam.
• Submission should be done before the due date as on the scheduled date issued by the authority.
• In the registration form fill the candidate’s name, score, marks-sheet details, etc.
• Aspirants filling the form are informed to fill in valid e-mail ID and mobile number.
• After that upload the recent photograph and signature in mentioned JPG/JPEG format.

Application Fee

• Candidates who want to apply for Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science) have to pay the 500/- (for the General category) and OBC/SC/ST category has to submit Rs.250/-as application fees.
• And to apply for (VNC)/ Marine Fitter Course(MFC), candidates who belong to the General category have to pay Rs.300/- andOBC/SC/ST category is Rs.150/- as application fees.
• Payment can be done through Cash, Demand Draft or through E-payment to CIFNET’s Account.+
• Aspirants applying for the application form need to send their application form along with the e-receipt (UTR number) for making payment details by means of registered posts etc.

CIFNET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following details regarding CIFNET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

• Nationality: Indian National candidates are eligible to apply.
• Qualification: Candidates need to complete the tenth and twelfth level with securing minimum 50% marks (for SC/ST- pass is sufficient)or its equivalent exam in (English and Math’s) &in other Science subject aggregate marks from a recognized board or university to apply for Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science) [B.F.Sc (N.S)]. Candidate wants to apply in Vessel Navigator Course (VNC) & Marine Fitter Course (MFC) have to complete the tenth class with securing a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent exam with securing a minimum of 40% marks in the subjects Math’s& Science separately from a recognized board.
• Appearing: Candidates who are appearing in the twelfth class are eligible to apply for Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science) [B.F.Sc (N.S)].
• Age limit: Candidates who want to apply in a Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science) [B.F.Sc (N.S)], should be above 17 years of age & below 20 years of age at the time of applying. And to apply for Vessel Navigator Course (VNC) & Marine Fitter Course (MFC), the aspirant’s age should be above 15 and below 20 years of age.
• On the bases of the Common Entrance Test, Academic Merit, Interview aspirants will be selected for Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science) [B.F.Sc (N.S)]. On this bases, All India basis Common Entrance Test candidates will be selected for Vessel Navigator Course (VNC) & Marine Fitter Course (MFC).

• CIFNET 2024 Application form will be available soon and the last date of submission is June 2024 for the Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science).
• To apply for Vessel Navigator Course (VNC)/ Marine Fitter Course (MFC) Application form has been available for submission should be done before or till the due date.
• Candidates want to apply to have to fill the application by filling candidates Name, Father/Mother Name, Gender, Birth of Date, Mobile/Phone Number, Qualification Details, and percentage for 10th or equivalent and subsequent examinations passed
• Aspirants must write correct details in the form, if the furnished information is written in the form then the form will be canceled.
• Pay the application fees through avail payment gateway avail by the authority.
