• Minimum Marks: General Category aspirants must have secured a minimum of 45 % marks or more in the qualifying exam and Reserved Category aspirants must have secured a minimum of 40 % marks or more in the qualifying exam in order to apply for the entrance exam.
• Gender: For the admission process only the female category aspirants are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for M. Sc. Nursing course. 

• Educational Qualification: B. Sc. Post Basic Nursing / B. Sc. Nursing / B. Sc. Hons. A nursing or equivalent exam from a recognized board or university must be completed by the aspirant who wants to apply for the entrance exam.
• Minimum Marks: The aspirants must have secured not less than 55 % marks or more in the qualifying exam in order to apply for the entrance exam.
• Experience: The aspirants who hold a minimum of 1 year of working experience after being registered as a midwife and registered nurse under the State Nursing Council are only eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
• Medical Standard: The aspirants must hold a valid medical fitness certificate from an authorized medical officer and should be medically fit to apply for the entrance exam.
