The Combined Shiksha Acharya Entrance Test (SAET 2022) is one M.Ed entrance carried admission to the three deemed Sanskrit universities, or videlicet SLBS Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (New Delhi), Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (New Delhi), Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (Tirupati). An entrance test will be conducted in order to choose nominees for admission.

CSAET M.Ed 2022 Important Dates

The interested applicants for SAET 2022-23 are required to fill out and submit the application form and fee before the last date otherwise their applications will be rejected.

CSAET M.Ed 2022 Application form

The applicants are displayed for SAET – 2022-23 can fill provided for online application from websites of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati. Candidates are encouraged to carefully review the eligibility criteria before applying.

CSET M.Ed 2022 Application Form will be released on 1st week of May 2022. The Last Date to Submit Application Form is 3rd week of July 2022. 

CSAET M.Ed 2022 Eligibility Criteria

  • This course is of two years. Those students who have gone Shastri/B.A./equivalent degree and/or Acharya/ M.A.(Skt.)/equivalent degree, Shiksha Shastri/B.Ed.(With Sanskrit Teaching) from any recognized University are eligible
  • At least 50% marks in theory and in practical papers independently and 50% marks on aggregate are required in Shiksha Shastri./B.Ed.(Skt.) Methodology.
  • For candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ in another way able categories, 5% relaxation will be allowed in the minimum pass percentage needed for admission. i.e. 45% in each section and 45% in aggregate.
  • Admission to M.Ed. The course will be given on the grounds of prescribed reservations by the Govt. of India and in order of merit list of the merged M.Ed. Entrance Test 2022-23.
  • Minimum age limit for showing up in the entrance test has to be at least 22 years as of 01 Oct. 2022.

CSAET M.Ed 2022 Exam Pattern

  • The combined (M.Ed.) Entrance Test will involve a question paper in two parts.
  • Part A (objective type): M.M. 100

Part A will consist of four sections.

  • Sanskrit Language Competency – 25
  • Educational Psychology – 25
  • General Knowledge related to Education & Teaching – 25
  • The teaching of Sanskrit – 25
  • For each question, the four options of the answers shall be provided. Out of those, only one is going to be the correct answer. Only one answer is to be marked(z). If more than one answer is flagged for any question, it will be treated as invalid and no mark will be awarded for such a reply. All the questions will be in Sanskrit.

Part B (Subject Based Question): M.M. 50

  • Linguistic components of Sanskrit – 10
  • Outline of prose/poetry lesson plans – 10
  • Action research project on a given topic – 20
  • Preparing a balanced question paper on a given subject – 10

CSAET M.Ed 2022 Admit Card

CSAET M.Ed 2022 Admit Card will be available on 4th week of July 2022. Candidates can download a admit card for the examination from the official website.

In case you won’t get Admit Card before the Examination date, you may check the Website and find out the Roll no. and the first name of the Examination center from the internet and contact the center.

one hour prior to the examination with two photographs along with the prescribed form filled in. Fill the application form only if you consider yourself qualifying for it. Do not fill more than one form. That will cancel the candidacy test.

Exam Centers

The allotment of the center for examination shall be made according to the information given by the student. As soon as the center for examination is assigned, it will not be changed. The candidate has to appear at the allocated center only.

Fee Structure

Shiksha Acharya Programme has announced the fee details as stated below:

  • 6000/- for First Year
  • 6000/- for Second Year.

Reservation of seats

Out of a total number of seats in Shiksha Acharya, reservation in accordance with rules of the Government of India will apply from time to time:

For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)  15%

For candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST)  7.5%

For Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-creamy layer following Central Govt. List  27%

In case of the non-availability of OBC candidates, the seats will be filled up by the General Category candidates.

For Person with Disability (PwD) 3%

For children/widows of Armed Forces Personnel disabled/killed during the war/Hostilities 3% (Clear mentioning of disability/Death is necessary for the certificate)

For sportsmen (For participating at National/International level competitions only) 2%

The candidate which belongs to any of the above-reserved categories must lead a certificate of their category duly certified through a Gazetted Officer at the time of admission in Vidyapeetha. Failing which the eligibility will be rejected. In case of the non-availability of such candidates, the seats are filled from the general category.

CSAET M.Ed 2022 Answer Key

Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati unloads the answer key of SAET over their official website. The answer key has correct answers to all the questions raised in the exam.

The candidates are also given the feature to challenge the answer key. To check out the answer key the candidates can on the official website and check the PDF links of the test answer keys.

Result Evaluation Method

The medium of Shiksha Acharya course in Sanskrit. Candidates who help secure the minimum 50% marks in either parts ‘A’ & ‘B’ separately will be considered as passed.

However second part of those candidates, not securing 50% marks in the first part, is not evaluated.
