The Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is the popular exam of 10 central universities by which candidates are getting admission to complete their undergraduate program. There are ten central universities have been conducted for candidates such as Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, and Orissa.

CUCET 2021 Merit List

CUCET 2021 Merit List Calculation
Merit List is calculated on the basis of Aggregate Marks (%) obtained in qualifying degree course or Board Certification and Marks obtained in CUCET. There is a certain weightage of both the marks:
- 30% of the Qualifying Degree Course or Board Certificate (10, 10+2)
- 70% of CUCET Marks
For Example:
- 80% is Aggregate Marks of 10+2 Exam then 30% of 82 = 24
- 75 Marks in CUCET then 70% of 75 = 52.5
- Net Merit for CUCET Weill be (a+b) 24 + 52.5 = 76.5
How to Check CUCET 2021 Result
Candidates should go through the given steps to check CUCET Result 2021:
- Visit the official website of CUCET i.e. cucetexam.in
- Now, click on the “CUCET 2021 Results” link.
- Enter the login details Roll Number and Date of Birth
- Click on the ‘Login button’
- The result of CUCET 2021 will be displayed
- Download it & take a print copy of it for future use.

CUCET 2021 Counseling
The CUCET Counseling will be conducted after the declaration of the merit list and those candidates have participated in the CUCET, they will be shortlisted in the merit list as per their result.
In the participating institutes, the candidates will be allotted after counseling to get admission in Central Universities.
There are 10 central universities will conduct admission for candidates separately.
Those candidates are selected and shortlisted for the counseling, they have to necessarily attend the counseling procedure with the required documents.
Important Instructions of CUCET 2021 Counseling
- All of the participated candidates will attend the counseling session from different centers.
- The candidates should be present necessarily at the counseling center as per the provided schedule.
- On the obtained marks, the candidates will be select for M.Tech Seat allotment.
- The seats will be approved for only that candidates, those are successfully verified their documents at the counseling session.
CUCET Counseling for GATE-qualified candidates
Those candidates are qualified by GATE Examination; they don’t need to go for CUCET Examination. They will get direct admission to central universities. The seat allotment will be conducted for GATE qualified candidates at the counseling session. The GATE qualified candidates have the eligibility to get admission directly to the central universities.
