Calicut University is the conducting body of the Calicut University Management Aptitude Test (CUMAT). This examination is conducted to provide admission to MBA programs in various management schools, the School of Distance Education.

The MBA Regular Program is available at the University Teaching Department and from 1994 onwards, Part-time Program at its regional centres at Palakkad, Thrissur, and Kozhikode.
