DASA 2023 Spot Round Seat Allotment has been Released on 8th August 2023. Online Counselling Registration has been started on 12th June 2023. The DASA, also known as Direct Admission of Students Abroad, and the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, has managed this scheme for candidates to offer them admission to the various undergraduate programs.

In the premier Institutes of India, admission will be provided to the candidates by State Admission Test (SAT); candidates will get admission in the various undergraduate programs under the Direct Admission of Students Abroad scheme.

In the various undergraduate, B.Tech admissions into the NITs, IIITs, SPAs and other Centrally Funded & Premier Technical Institutes, applicants will be able to get admission if they are foreign nationals, Non-Resident Indian (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).

As per the marks of the candidates in the SAT Subject Test, they will be selected on the merit list, and selected students will get a call letter from the authority to attend the counselling session.

For UG Course-

The Procedure of DASA UG Counseling

Candidates will be called out for the counselling procedure, and there will be five-round counselling. The procedure of counselling should follow by the candidates.

• Applicants will be able to attend the counselling session based on eligibility criteria.
• Students should have to carry the required documents for verification, which will be done through authority.
• The seat will be allotted to the candidates in the allotted institute.

Required Documents for Counseling 2023

• Self-attested mark sheet of the qualifying examination
• An authenticated translated copy of the document written in any other language other than English or Hindi.
• Applicant’s Passport- The candidates of Nepal can also submit the authenticated citizenship card if they do not have a passport.
• Proof of date of birth
• Letter from school authority as proof of completion of X and XII examination
