DET Odisha Admissions to Non-Engineering, Film & TV and courses under the Part-Time program shall be made according to the merit rank drawn on the basis of marks obtained by an applicant in the qualifying examination through computerized Central Counseling. However, additional weightage will be given for drawing the merit list for Film & TV Courses as per the Guidelines.

DET Odisha Entrance Exam will be an objective type. There is total of 100 questions in the final exam.

The time duration of Entrance Test is 150 minutes. And each question in the question paper will carry 4 marks and there will be of total 400 marks. There will be negative marking for exam i.e. 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

DET Odisha Result/Merit List


The result can be downloaded online from the official website of (DTE&T), Odisha. The applicants can check their result in the month of June.

The rank card will also publish online on the official website and the applicants can download it within the prescribed period. The admission will be done on the basis of merit that will be prepared by the score of applicants in quantifying board exam.

And due to not commencing the Odisha DET entrance examination, the merit list will be considered for admission.

Step by Step to Download DET Odisha Result/Merit List


Step 1:- First of all, visit the actual official website or wait till Examination may upload the merit list.

Step 2:- After that click on the Result Link

Step 3:- Select Name or Applicants Number.

Step 4:- If the applicant Selected Name then enters the Name, Name of Parents / Guardian & Date of Birth.

Step 5:- If the applicant Selected Application Number then enter the Application Number & Date of Birth.

Step 6:- after filling with all the above information, click on the Submit button.

Step 7:- The result will be displayed on your screen.

Step 7:- Download it & take printouts of the result for further use.

Procedure for preparing the merit list [% of Marks rounded up to 2 decimal points]

 

11st Semester Diploma in Engg./ Technology, Non-Engg. (Beauty Culture only) and Part Time
For candidates having equal marks in qualifying examination, the candidates with the higher percentage of marks in Mathematics will be placed at the higher rank.

If the candidates have the same percentage of marks in Mathematics, the candidates having the higher percentage of marks in Science will be placed at the higher rank. If the candidates have the same percentage of marks in Science, then the candidates having the higher percentage of marks in English will be placed at the higher rank. For candidates having the same percentage of marks in English, the senior in age will be placed at a higher rank.

 

21st Semester/ Year Diploma in Non-Engineering (Except Beauty Culture)
For candidates having equal marks in qualifying examination, the candidates with the higher percentage of marks in English will be placed at a higher rank. For candidates having the same percentage of marks in English, the senior in age will be placed at a higher rank.

 

33rd Semester (LE) Diploma in Engineering
For Two (02) years ITI passed candidates
a)       For candidates having equal marks in the qualifying examination, the candidate securing higher percentage of marks in Trade Theory will be placed at the higher rank.

b)      For the candidates having the same percentage of marks in Trade Theory, the senior in age will be placed at the higher rank.

 

For (+2) Vocational (2 years) in Engineering Trade passed candidates
a)       For candidates having equal marks in the qualifying examination, the candidate securing higher percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Basic Science Foundation Course will be placed at the higher rank.

a)       For the candidates having the same percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Basic Science Foundation Course, the senior in age will be placed at the higher rank.

 

For (+2) Science with PCM passed candidates
a)       For candidates having equal marks in the qualifying examination, the candidate securing higher percentage of marks in Physics will be placed at a higher rank.

b)      For the candidates having the same percentage of marks in Physics, the candidate securing higher percentage of marks in Chemistry will be placed at the higher rank.

b)      For the candidates having the same percentage of marks in Chemistry, the candidate securing higher percentage of marks in Mathematics will be placed at the higher rank. d) For the candidates having the same percentage of marks in Mathematics, the senior in age will be placed at higher rank

 

For ITI (COPA) passed candidates
For candidates having equal marks in the qualifying examination COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant), the candidate securing higher percentage of marks in Trade Theory will be placed at the higher rank. For the candidates having the same percentage of marks in Trade Theory, the senior in age will be placed at higher rank.
