DHE Goa B.Ed 2023: Application Form (Till 2nd May), Dates, Eligibility Criteria

DHE Goa B.Ed 2023 Application Form can be Filled till 2nd May 2023. Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Goa, will free brochures for access to the B.Ed. Degree Programme in the State of Goa. The link to apply online will be activated on schedule.  The government of Goa will announce the Common Admission Procedure for A B.Ed Programme for the school year 2023, at Nirmala Institute of Education, Panaji GVM College of Education- Ponda& PES College of Education, Ponda, Goa.

The three institutes are going to be the coordinating units for the Common Admission Procedure. Only those aspiring students using a valid rank at the GU-ART conducted by Goa University may apply for B.Ed. admissions. Only those students fulfilling the predominant eligible terms specified in the Prospectus shall be offered a seat based upon the GU-ART rank and upon payment of requisite fees, in due course.

Candidates seeking admission for B.Ed. Program 2023 is going to have to invariably answer the Goa University Admission Ranking Test (GU-ART) conducted by Goa University in the subject(s) for which application is sought, at the B.EdProgramme. B. Ed aspirants have to apply for the said test or previously the last date, as well as on, appear for the said test as reported by the University in the respective subject(s), as applicable. DHE Goa B.Ed 2023 Application Form

Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Goa, will publish a Common Admission Procedure for The B.Ed Programme for the Academic Year 2023.

• DHE Goa B.Ed 2023 Application Form has been released on 5th April 2023.
• The Last Date to Submit Application Form is 2nd May 2023.
• Only those aspiring students with a valid ranking at the GU-ART conducted by Goa University may apply for B.Ed. admissions.
• Applicants are invited to complete and submit an Online Application Form. After submitting the online Application Form, an automatic email is sent to the e-mail address given by the candidates.
• The print out of this email will be taken and along with all the other requirements and Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India only will have to be presented to the office of the Director of Higher Education, SCERT Building, Porvorim Goa.

DHE Goa B.Ed 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant has a citizen of India.
• A candidate for the Bachelor of Education Programme must have passed a Bachelor/Post Graduate Degree Examination of Goa University or a correspondent degree from any other legal University recognized as equivalent thereto, with a minimum of 50% marks (5% relaxation is given to candidates from the SC/ST/OBC categories). Further, the contenders should have held at least one of the school themes at his graduation/post-graduation for which training is submitted in the institution.

DHE Goa B.Ed 2023 Exam Pattern

The GU-ART shall be of one paper of 100 marks, which contains 50 objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) of 2 marks each. There shall be negative marking, where half a mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be withheld for unanswered questions. The entire duration of the GU-ART will be of 90 minutes.

DHE Goa B.Ed 2023 Admission

Only those applicants who have requested in response to the prospectus of 2023-22 and submitted their applications duly completed in every way online on or before the last date and time and comply with the eligibility criteria will be considered for admission to the B.Ed. program in the strict order of merit.

The Admission procedure applies online. The Counselling schedule will be displayed on the DHE website. Temporary and final merit lists will be shown on the DHE website. The Chairperson of the Admission Committee reserves the right to change the schedule of admission if required.

Rules relating to the cancellation of fees and reimbursements thereafter shall be governed as per the Goa University directive in Colleges.

Rules Of Admission

• The Application Form must be completed by the applicant and presented by him/her online.
• The final date for receiving applications online are those that are mentioned in the schedule of the admission process. Every application for providing an extension of time for submission of forms or admission at a later date, shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
• The Applicant claiming a seat in the reserved category of SC/ST/OBC must present the caste certificate in the prescribed proforma.
• The merit list shall be displayed following designated scheduling on DHE website/on DHE Notice Board.
• Admission must be strictly based on Merit following the rank obtained in the qualifying GU-ART.
• All the applicants who are offered admission are going to have to pay the requisite fees on the date of Counselling specified in the timetable.
• Inviting applications according to this leaflet does not confer any right/the application to the applicant, for access to the program in a B.Ed. College.
• Every eligible applicant who is desirous of seeking admission shall remain present following the timetable for Counselling sessions alongside the proof of identity and original documents.

The decision on the Admission Committee will be the final in interpreting the rules of admission.

DHE Goa B.Ed 2023 Counseling

Counseling will be done after the successful completion of the exam. The candidate attends the counseling along with documents in the source such as Residence Certificate, Booked A Category certificate as well as the Graduation/Post Graduation Certificate.

Admission will not be confirmed whether there are any of the certificates mentioned above that do not coincide with the information entered by the candidates in the Application Form.
