About the M.Ed. Program

• The University offers many courses through an entrance examination and one of them is the Masters in Education Program (M.Ed.)
• It was conceived as a professional program for advanced study of the discipline of Education. From this year onwards, CIE will advance for a years full-time M.Ed Program.
• It is a full-time 2-year course for applicants who are pursuing a DU M.Ed. The program can opt for M.Ed. through an online registration process, which is out now on the official website of Delhi University

DU CIE M.Ed 2023 Application Process

The DU CIE M.Ed 2023 Application Form will be Released. Candidates may register themselves by following these easy steps of registration:

• Step-1 Firstly go to the official website of Delhi University at  http://admission.du.ac.in. Applicants should check their eligibility as per the conditions mentioned from the prospectus available at www.du.ac.in
• Step-2 After checking every detail register yourself by clicking on new user registration on the right-hand side of the page. Read the manual window closely and agree with it by a tick mark.
• Step-3 Fill in the login details such as your email, password and mobile number and applicant’s details as mentioned in the 10th merit certificate (your name, nationality, date of birth mother’s/father’s name, etc)
• Step-4  Recheck all the details carefully before submitting and after you check, click the registration button given below.

Registration Fee

Registered candidates have to pay the registration fee mentioned below for each category:

• For SC/ST/PwD- Rs. 250
• For General/OBC and another category- Rs 500

Note: The entrance fee should be paid by debit or credit card only.

DU CIE M.Ed 2023 Eligibility Criteria

There will be some eligibility criteria which has to be satisfied by the candidates. Candidates applying for a course should have made sure 50% aggregate in BE.d/ B.A B.Ed/ B.Sc B.Ed/ B.BI.Ed/ D.DI.Ed(with an undergraduate degree with 50% marks). Reservation of seats in the following program will be in line with standards of central/ state government as the case may be.

Required age

There is no upper age limit for the admissions in the DU M.Ed program under the rules of the University of Delhi.

Seat Reservation

• Candidates need to compete for only 50 seats available for the DU ME.d programme. Following is an overview regarding seat distribution for different categories:

• Relaxations and Concessions for SC, ST, OBC to applicants, and for Supernumerary seats like C/WAP, PwD and Foreign National candidates will be as per the University of Delhi norms.

DU CIE M.Ed 2023 Selection Procedure

The selection of the eligible candidates would be based on a written examination that carries 400 marks. A merit list will be developed of selected applicants according to the marks obtained through them.

The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours that contains the 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 4 marks each. There will be negative marking and 1 mark would be subtracted for each wrong answer.

All selected applicants will be required to open the following documents mentioned below in conjunction with the certified copy of each at the time of admission:

• High School/Secondary School Certificate with the purpose of verification of age.
• Mark sheets of all qualifying examinations
• Certificate of examination(s) passed
• Study leave (wherever applicable)
• Reserved category certificates
• Character certificate from the institution last attended
