Following the formal notification application form for admission can be downloaded from the official website for the M.Ed program.

• Gauhati University M.Ed 2023 Application Form will be released on the 1st week of December 2023.
• The Last Date to Submit Application Form is the 2nd week of December 2023.
• The application along with the application Pay-in-slip fee is to be sent to the address indicated on or before the last date. last year, the application fees for this program is Rs 300 which is the application fee, and Rs 200 which is the entrance fee.
• Candidates must make the payment through SBI collect payment gateway can be accessed from the official website.
• Scan their photograph and signature that will ensure that both the photograph and signature respect the necessary specifications as given in upload a section of the online submission process.
• Signature in Capital Letter will NOT be accepted.
• Keep required details/documents prepared to make Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ bank charges
• have a valid personal email ID and Contact Number, which must remain active till the completion of this admissions process. In no circumstances, a candidate should share with/mention e-mail ID to/of any other person. In case a candidate without a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before you apply on-line and have to maintain that email account.

Procedure for applying online

Candidates are first required to go to the G.U. website www.Gauhati.ac.in and click on the Home and tap option “click here to apply online ” to open the On-Line Application Form.

Candidates need to register their application by entering their basic information included in the online application form. \After that, an Application number and password will be generated by the system and appear on the screen.

The candidate should record the Application number and password.

Mode of Payment

• Candidates will be given the option of making the payment of fees/ Bank charges through the ONLINE MODE as no alternative mode of payments will be entertained. The payment can be done using Debit Cards (Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking. RuPay Card is not accepted.
• After the successful completion of the Online Application Process, candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and it filled up the online application form. Please note that if the same unable to generate the online transaction may not be successful.

Gauhati University M.Ed 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to check that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before they are applied to the program.

• Applicant must possess B.Ed/B.T. from within the same university or any other university which has recognized University and have at least 55% aggregate marks following the NCTE norms. A relaxation of 5% will be given to the reserved category of students towards university norms.
• Additionally,10 % of the seats are reserved for teachers deputed by the Govt of Assam. Serving candidates must submit a Study leave Certificate/ No Objection Certificate from their concerned employers along with the application.
