GIET University Admission 2024: Application (Started), Dates, Eligibility Criteria

GIET University 2024 Application Form has been Released on 23rd March 2024 for Various Courses. GIET University has started an application process in order for B.Tech 2024 admissions. Candidates can now access an application form in both online and offline modes. No application fee has to be paid for the candidates. Enrol online; the candidates must complete and submit the application form.

The application form should be downloaded, filled out, and sent across the post for offline mode. Candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria determined by the authorities. Admissions will be made based on the candidates’ performance at the GIETEE/ JEE Main/ OJEE or equivalent entrance examination of national repute.

The institute offers various Undergraduate and Postgraduate Science, Engineering and Technology, and Business Administration courses. Admission to the B.Techhappens through JEE Main, whereas for M.Tech. Program applicants should have a valid GATE score. Admission to M.Sc program is based on merit in the qualifying examination. Admission to the MBA program is granted for candidates through All India MBA Entrance Test/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ OJEE scores.

GIET University 2024 Application Form

GIET University 2024 Application Form has been Released on 23rd March 2024 for Various Courses. The application form for B.Tech admissions into GIET University is available online and offline. Candidates must fill out and submit the Application Form to participate in the admission process.

The candidates must fill out their personal, contact and academic details for the online application form and submit them. A photograph, according to the specifications, also has to be dispatched.

If you want to install it offline, the candidates must download and fill out the Application Form. A colour passport-size photograph has to be attached, and your application form has to be submitted to the following address:

For admission to B.Tech Courses:

To qualify for admission to GIET, Gunupur, one must send a State Bank of India A/C payee demand draft about the Rs. 500/- in favour of -GIET, Gunupur, towards the cost of the prospectus and application form. GIET University 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria comprise some requirements the candidates must meet to be eligible for admission into the B.Tech courses provided by GIET University. The inability to meet those criteria can lead to the disqualification of the candidates from the admissions process.

• Applicants should have a qualified 10+2th qualification examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in CBSE or ICSE.
• Should have ensured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualification exam.
• The authorities will also accept the High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University or the International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Organization, Geneva.
• General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
• The candidates should have been qualified for GIETEE/ JEE Main/OJEE or equivalent entrance examinations of national repute.

GIET University 2024 Admission Procedure

Admission to the lateral B.Tech course is made based on marks in the qualifying examination pursued by the centralized counselling undertaken by the OJEE committee. The ready candidates are admitted to the M.Tech program based on the GATE score. Non-GATE qualified candidates with a CGPA of 6.5 (10-point scale) or 60% marks in the B.Tech/BE examination must appear at an Online Test.

GATE-qualified candidates who pass or show up in the MCA examination from an accredited university with a a CGPA of 6.5 or 60% marks are eligible for M. Tech in Computer Science. Any Science graduate with Biology at +2 level qualifies to take admission to M.Sc. Biotechnology, Bioinformatics,& Industrial Biotechnology course is expected to have 45% in Honours or 50% in aggregate. Eligibility for admission into the MBA tutorial is +3 degree / any graduation or equivalent. The institute acknowledges that students by All India MBA Entrance Test /CAT /MAT /XAT /OJEE.
