M.Sc. (Economics)

• Only 40 eligible applicants will be able to get the GIPE M.SC admission through the entrance test.
• The government of Maharashtra has set the strategies to select the eligible and needs applicants for the M.Sc. (Economics) and this will be in action at the time of the admissions.
• The applicants who are based in Maharashtra will only be eligible for the set-aside seats for the reserved category in regards to the GIPE M.SC (Economics) admission.
• Once the reserved category admissions are done and if there are some seats available then in such case the seats will be given to the general category applicants.

M.Sc. (Financial Economics) / M. Sc. (Agribusiness Economics) / M. Sc. (International Business Economics & Finance)

• Only 40 eligible applicants will be able to get the GIPE M.SC admission through the entrance test.
• The distribution of seats will be done according to the rules and regulations decided by the Government of India.
• Once the reserved category admissions are done and if there are some seats available then in such case the seats will be given to the general category applicants.
• As per the Government of India, the seats will be assigned to different categories as per the below table.

Important note: The selection of the applicants will be done based on a few performance criteria decided by the Government of India

General information for courses:

• The university and the authorities have the right to increase the number of allotment seats if they want and this can be done anytime if required.
• The applicants who belong to the Jammu and Kashmir state will be given admissions as they have 2 (extra) reserved seats as per the Government for each course.
• Any applicant who is looking for the admissions below the specific categories such as SC (Schedule Caste, ST (Schedule Tribe, DTNT (Denotified Tribe Nomadic Tribe, VJNT (Vimukta Jati Nomadic Tribe) will have to submit the caste certificate which should be issued by the government authority and the submitted documents should be self-attested photocopies and not the original.
• The PH (Physically handicapped) applicants will have 1 extra seat reserved for them in each course as per the university and the government.
• The PH (Physically handicapped) applicants will also have to submit the disability certificate issued by the government authority and the submitted documents should be self-attested photocopies and not the original.
