GTET is completely known as the Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test and this test is organized by the Gujarat School Examination Board to provide teacher jobs to the candidates in primary (class I -V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) classes of Gujarat schools.

The interested and eligible candidates can appear in the Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test by filling the Application Form through online mode. As per the marks scored in GTET, applicants will get the qualifying certificate to the candidates and they will get the teacher job in the school of Gujarat.

Gujarat TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must have to check their eligibility criteria before filling the Application Form of Gujarat TET and it is necessary for the candidates to be eligible to apply in the Gujarat TET Examination. The eligibility criteria of GTET are mentioned below.

Age Criteria

The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years.

Primary Teachers level (I-V):

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) is necessary with an aggregate of 45 percent marks.
• Appearing candidates in final 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education were also eligible.

OR

• Candidates with B.Sc. /BA / with a score of 50 percent marks and B.Ed qualified candidates were also eligible to apply for it.

Upper Primary Teachers level (VI-VIII):

• For Paper II 2025 applicants having B.Sc/ B.A. or those appearing in final 2-year B.A. / D.Ed. /B.Sc. with at least 45 per cent marks or cleared/ appearing in B.Ed / Senior Secondary with a score of 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed.

OR

• B.A. (Ed.)/ final 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / B.Ed B.Sc. (Ed.), (Special Education) with an aggregate of 50% in B.SC or B. A were eligible for GTET.

Gujarat TET 2025 Application Form

On the official website of the Gujarat School Examination Board, the application form will be available in the month of April 2025.

Those applicants are interested and eligible, can apply in the Gujarat TET by Filling the Application Form online mode by visiting on the official website. Before the last date of submission, candidates should have to submit the application form.

After filling and submitting the Application Form, candidates must have to make the payment of the application fee through online mode.
