In the time of 1930, all the local languages in Gujarat Vidyapith Courses such as Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Hindi Persian, and also English were started, followed by courses in Accountancy, Pharmacy, Political Science, etc. The courses were started till graduation level gradually many colleges, and institutions started joining the university in 1932.

During the civil disobedience movement until 1935, all the functions of the university were closed or stopped, Up to the member, the students took part in the movement and demanded an arrest. After that, from 1942 to 1945, giving full support to Gandhiji in the Quit India Movement.  The university had postponed its tenure but since 1945, Recognizing the importance of education, the UGC, according to Section 3 of the Act, 1956, Afterwards, postgraduate courses such as us and appeals, etc. and Ph.D. courses were also started.
