  • Preference Criteria: Preference is given to candidates of 10+2 (Medical Stream) first, followed by 10+2 (Non-Medical Stream), and lastly, 10+2 (Commerce and Arts stream).

Counselling and Waiting List:

  • Ratio: Candidates are called for counselling in a ratio of 1:2. For example, if there is one seat, counselling for two candidates will be conducted.
  • Waiting List: A waiting list in each category is drawn for the remaining candidates in order of merit.

Tie-Breaking Criteria:

  • In case of a tie in merit, the inter-se ranking is determined based on total marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and then in order of merit in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English in the 10+2 examination.
  • If a tie persists even after the above procedure, preference is given to the candidate older in age.

  • Candidates in order of their merit are allowed to express their preferences for various training institutions based on the availability of seats in respective categories.

HP GNM Admission Fee 2024

The HP GNM Admission Fee structure is a pivotal aspect of the enrollment process for the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course in Himachal Pradesh.   • No tuition fee and Hospital attachment charges will be charged in Government Nursing Institutions from BPL/IRDP families. The tuition fee for State and Management Quota seats in Private Nursing Institutions will be Rs. 5000/-, and the admission fee will be Rs. 2000/- for this category.
  • Private Nursing Institutions are not allowed to charge IDF charges (i.e., building fund, infrastructure fund, and development fund) from students as per the direction of the Hon’ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh.
  • Other dues such as mess, transport, and miscellaneous incidental expenses will be charged on an actual basis by the respective institution.
  • Newly admitted students must pay their fees in full within the prescribed period, as notified by the College office. Failure to do so will result in the seat being declared vacant and filled by admitting another candidate from the waiting list.
  • Selected candidates need to pay a fee of Rs. 10,000/- at the time of counselling, which will be adjusted later in the annual fee.
