HPTU B.Sc. (HM & CT) Application Form 2023

The Application Form of HPTU B.Sc. (HM & CT)  has been available on the official website of Himachal Pradesh Technical University those candidates are seeking to get admission in B.Sc.(HM & CT) course, they can apply in this examination by filling the application form through the following simple steps mentioned below.

• Primarily, candidates need to go on the official webpage of Himachal Pradesh Technical University.
• The candidates should have to click on the link of registration and fill in the registration details and the login id and password will be provided to the candidates.
• Through using the login id and password to fill the application form with all the correct and complete details.
• They have to make the payment of the application fee and submit it with the required documents with the bank challan before the last date.
• Candidates will get the PDF of an application form and download it for future use.

HPTU B.Sc. (HM & CT) Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Candidates must have these eligibility criteria to apply in this examination and all those candidates will be qualified in the 10+2 examination in any stream from a Board recognized or established by Central/State Government through legislation shall be eligible to apply. OR
• Percentage: They must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.

HPTU B.Sc. (HM & CT) Merit List 2023

Those applicants will be qualified in the previous year’s qualifying examination; they will be shortlisted in the merit list. Candidates can check their names mentioned in the merit list provided on the official webpage.

If two applicants have the same aggregate marks in the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2, the applicant’s date of birth will be considered

HPTU B.Sc. (HM & CT) Cut Off

The minimum/cut off marks to seek admission to B.Sc. HMCT/ BHMCT degree course on the basis of HPCET-2019 and 10+2 shall be as follows:

Admission will be provided to the candidates in B.Sc. HMCT/ BHMCT on the basis of merit of HPCET and those applicants will be qualified and selected in the merit list, they will be called out for the counseling session.

In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of HPCET, the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of 10+2 examination conducted by a recognized Board/University.

Documents Needed for Admission

The applicants must have to carry these required documents for verification and the documents are

• Certificate of having passed the qualifying examination
• Marks-sheet issued by the Board/University
• Matriculation/Higher Secondary Part-I/Indian School Certificates showing the date of birth
• National Level Entrance Examination/HPCET-2019 Score Card
• Character Certificate from the Head of Institution last attended
• Bonafide/Domicile Certificate issued by the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate Executive Magistrate, if applicable
• Reserved Category Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable
• Physically Challenged Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable
• Income Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applied under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme
• An undertaking/affidavit attested by the Executive Magistrate if applied under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme
• Kashmiri Migrants and domicile certificate issued by Competent Authority, if applied under Supernumerary Kashmiri Migrant Quota
• In case an intervening period/gap is involved, a certificate/affidavit issued by a Class-I Gazetted Officer/Notary Public shall be required for the entire intervening period/gap showing the candidate’s preoccupation after leaving the Institution last attended.
