Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination which is known in short as HSEE it is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. It was established through an Act of Parliament in 1959.

Institute offers education in Engineering, Sciences, Management, Humanities, and Technology at the Undergraduate/ Postgraduate level. It offers admission into five years of the Integrated MA program.

HSEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following details regarding HSEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria for admission:

• Nationality: Indian & Foreign National candidates are eligible to apply.
• Qualification: Applicants must satisfy any one criteria. Candidates will have to pass the 10+2 system held by (the Central or State Board) which should be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. 2. Pass the Intermediate or the 2 yrs. Pre-University examination held by the Board from recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.3.2 yrs. courses of final exam of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy. 4. passed the Senior Secondary School Exam held by (National Institute of Open Schooling) with at least 5 subjects. 5.Pass from any Public School, Board or University in India country or foreign country or Equivalent exam 10+2 system held by the (Association of Indian Universities). H.S.C. vocational exam. 6. 12th class courses of Central Board of Secondary Education. 7.London, Cambridge or Sri Lanka candidates who passed the General Certificate Education at the Advanced level can apply.8.Or applier have completed the High School Certificate (HSC) exam from Cambridge University or hold the Diploma of International Baccalaureate of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva can apply.
• Age criteria: applier candidates whose birth of date falls on or after the month of October 1994 can apply (for SC, ST, and PwD category- the birth of date on or after the month of October 1989).

• There is only one way to apply for registration in HSEE 2024 it is through online mode on the official website of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) of the Institute.
• to register visit the official website and log-in by writing email ID, full name, contact number, etc., after that Application number will be generated which should be kept safe for further communication.
• after registration on the web page write the details asked of applier candidates such as name, category, date of birth, gender, domicile, details of a qualifying exam, marks secured, University name, Mobile number, correspondence address, and permanent address, etc.
• Provide the required qualification document copy of the 10th class certificate, scan Class 12th certificates, Category certificate scan copy for GEN-EWS-Undertaking / OBC-NCL-Undertaking / SC / ST candidates, and scan copy of PwD / Dyslexia / Scribe certificate (if applicable), etc.
• The last step is to pay the amount of On-Line Application form fees through the online payment facilities.
