IFPT Thanjavur Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following details regarding IIFPT Thanjavur Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria for admission:  

Nationality: Indian National candidates are eligible to apply.

Qualification: 

• B.Tech– candidates have to pass the 10+2 (HSC) from a recognized board and need to take a minimum of 55% marks (General Category) & 50% marks (for Reserved Category) as aggregate in their HSC exams. Applier must have a valid scorecard of JEE Main 1st paper.  
• M.Tech- Candidates must pass the Bachelor’s degree (B.E or a B.Tech) from any university or institute in any streams of (Agricultural Engineering / Food Process Engineering / Agricultural and Food Engineering / Food Processing and Preservation Technology / Food Technology and Management / Food Technology / Chemical Engineering / Dairy Engineering.) and have a secure minimum of 70% marks as aggregate. Selection will be done on the basis of merit list and written test held by University.
• Ph.D.- candidates will have to pass the Master’s Degree (M.E or an M.Tech)  from any recognized university or institute in any of the streams from (Post-Harvest Technology/ Food Process Engineering/ Agricultural and Food Engineering/ Food Science and Technology / Dairy and Food Engineering/ Agricultural Process Engineering/ Chemical Engineering) and applier will have to acquire a minimum of 70% marks as aggregate.
