The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is the most prominent entrance test in India, in which many candidates may get admission to complete their MBA in International Business Programmes. IIFT Exam has been Scraaped from 2024-2025; for admission to IIFT’s two-year MBA (International Business) and MBA (Business Analytics) Programmes, the Institute will consider the score of CAT 2023.

IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2024

For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories, the minimum requirement is 45% marks. Additionally, those in the final year of graduation are eligible to apply for IIFT 2024 admission and can submit their passing certificate by October 31, 2024.

Age Limit:

There is no specified age limit for candidates applying for admission to IIFT’s MBA (International Business) program. As long as candidates meet the educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria, there is no restriction based on age for applying to IIFT 2024 admission.

For MBA (Business Analytics) program at IIFT:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in total aggregate or 5.0 CGPA out of 10, with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the graduation level.
• Possess a B.E/B.Tech degree in any discipline from a recognized institute/university with at least 50% marks in total aggregate or 5.0 CGPA out of 10.
• Completed Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or 5.0 CGPA and should have studied Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level (Applied Mathematics at 10+2 level will not be considered).

Candidates in the final year of graduation are eligible to apply for IIFT 2024 admission and can submit their passing certificate by October 31, 2024. It’s important to note that no requests for an extension of time for re-evaluation, etc., will be entertained.

Age Limit:

Similar to the MBA (International Business) program, there is no specified age limit for candidates applying for admission to IIFT’s MBA (Business Analytics) program. As long as candidates meet the educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria, there is no restriction based on age for applying to IIFT 2024 admission.

How to Fill IIFT Application Form 2024?

To complete the IIFT Application Form 2024, candidates must meticulously follow a step-by-step process. Beginning with new candidate registration and document preparation, applicants should provide accurate personal and educational details. The process involves multiple stages, including uploading essential documents and selecting preferences for programs, campuses, and cities, ensuring careful attention to detail at each step for a successful application submission.

Step 1: New Candidate Registration

• Create a new login by providing details for the IIFT Programme application.
• Use a valid email ID and remember the password filled during registration.
• Upon submission, an acknowledgement email will be sent to the provided email ID.

Step 2: Documents Required

• Before beginning the online application, gather necessary details/documents.
• Required documents include personal and educational qualification details, scanned photographs, signatures, class 10th & 12th marksheets, graduation certificates, category certificates, and GMAT scores (if applicable).

Step 3: Already Registered Candidate Login

• Registered candidates log in using their Email ID and Password to complete the application process.
• Upon logging in, there are four actions to be completed for submission of the online IIFT application form.

Action 1: Fill Application Form

• Furnish personal and qualification details accurately.
• Save the information by clicking the “SAVE” button.
• Editing can be done by logging in again and saving after the changes.

Action 2: Upload Photograph and Signature

• Upload a recent passport-size color photograph against a light background.
• Ensure clear visibility of eyes and ears; avoid reflections, headwear covering the face, or dark glasses.
• Upload a scanned signature on white paper using a black ink pen, ensuring a file size of less than 50kb.

Action 2A: Upload Documents

• Upload scanned copies of relevant documents such as mark sheets, graduation certificates, work experience certificates (if applicable), and category certificates in JPEG/JPG format.

Action 3: Select Programme, Campus, and City Preference

• Choose the applied program (MBA in International Business, MBA in Business Analytics, or both).
• Select campus preference for MBA (IB) – Delhi or Kolkata.
• Choose city preferences for the second round (GD/PI) from the provided drop-down menu.
• Click on “Save & Proceed” to proceed with the application process.

ACTION 4: MAKE PAYMENT

• Undertaking Acceptance:
  Candidates are required to read and accept the undertaking provided. Once accepted, the application proceeds to the next stage.
• Editing Information:
  If changes are needed in Personal or Qualification Details, candidates can log in using their Email ID and password. After editing, remember to save the updated information by clicking the “SAVE” button. Note that once the application is submitted, further edits won’t be possible.
• Payment Process:
  Upon submission, candidates will proceed to make the payment by selecting one of the following options: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Clicking the “MAKE PAYMENT” button will redirect applicants to the Bank’s website for payment processing.

ACTION 5: Print Application

• Printing the Application Form:
  After completing the online IIFT application form, candidates are advised to take a printout for their records. This printed copy can serve as a reference or record for future use.
• Reprinting the Application Form:
  Candidates have the option to reprint the online application form by logging into their account. This allows individuals to access and obtain another copy of their submitted application form as needed.

IIFT Application Form Correction

The candidates cannot correct the application form after submitting it because the IIFT does not allow them to correct it. So, candidates should be aware of filling out the application form, which has been better for them to get admission. The IIFT must provide a one-time fill to the application, and no chance to correct it after submitting the application form.

IIFT will provide a brief window of 3-4 days in the last week of November 2023 after the closure of the IIFT 2024 exam application process. During this period, candidates will have the opportunity to edit limited details in their IIFT 2024 application form. To access this facility, applicants will need to use their IIFT registration number and password to log in and make the necessary modifications. It’s important to utilize this edit facility within the specified timeframe and adhere to the limitations regarding the details that can be edited.

Once the IIFT online application form is submitted, changes to the data are not permitted. However, if essential modifications are necessary, candidates can contact IIFT via email from their registered email ID. The email should include the full name (as mentioned on the application form), application form number, and specific details requiring editing. It’s important to note that only certain basic information items can be modified, and the request for changes should be communicated to IIFT through the provided email channel.

Significant Instructions for a Candidate due to filling the Application form

• At the time of registering, candidates require to upload their scanned image. Hence, they should keep a scanned ready before filling out the application form.
• The candidate image should be in a JPG format, less than 50 KB.
• A scanned signature of the candidate will also be required on a white background. The size of the digitized signature should be less than 50 KB.
• Candidates who want to pay the registration fee online should keep their debit/ credit card ready.
• Those who want to pay by Demand Draft (DD) should keep the DD ready before filling out the IIFT application form 2024.
