Indian Institute Of Information Technology, Kalyani (IIIT Kalyani) is created by the Government of West Bengal and MHRD according to the public-private partnership model in 2014. The NASSCOM Head of The eastern district, FICCI, CII is in close collaboration with the institution. Indian Institute of Information technology was established within the Ministry of Human Resource (MHJRD), Govt. of India initiative. It was the installation program by the Government of West Bengal at Kalyani, Nadia District in 2014. IIIT, Kalyani provides B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology.

Application for admission can be supplemented offline which are available on-campus. The application form for admission can also be downloaded from the official website. Applicants to B.Tech. The course must have passed the 10+2 survey with PCM as subjects. Candidates need to show up for the national-level JEE entrance exam in order to qualify for admission to the course. Definitive seat-allocation is conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority through its JoSAA Counselling. There is no management quota available at the moment of receptions.

IIIT Kalyani 2024 Application Form

IIIT Kalyani 2024 Application Form will be Releasing soon for Various Courses. Students applying for B.Tech. the program suggested by IIIT-K will have to fill an on-campus application form for admissions. Other Side, apply for the B.Tech. course, a candidate must show up for the JEE exam.

• Visit the official website of the Institute to download the Application Form or get it from the admission counter in the office.
• Duly fill the application form and click it at the counter with relevant documents of evidence and the Registration charges of INR 500.
• Shortlisted candidates will be referred for further admission process consisting of an interview and document verification.
• Selected candidates will receive an e-mail with an admission letter.

IIIT Kalyani 2024 Admissions Process

B.Tech. the course is being offered by the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kalyani in two principal specializations namely Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology. Fundamental eligibility applying for a course is to pass HSC level Examination having chemistry, biology or mathematics, physics as the principal subjects.

The final selection of candidates would be based on merit in the entrance as well as the qualifying exam. Candidates will have to be present in the JoSSA counseling program designed to claim their admission into the course.

• Entrance Exam: Gate/ NET for skilled

• Note: The sponsored, Part-time, and External category students are demanding a minimum of 1-year working experience in sponsoring company.

Placements

Other Facilities:

Campus: The Government of West Bengal has lent support to the institute by granting 50 acres of land for setting up the Campus. At The Same Time construction is started in the land provided, the institute is presently running from a temporary campus at Webel IT Park, Kalyani.

Laboratories: Knowledge is power but does not have implementation it is useless. IIIT Kalyani is promoting learning in all ways. The institute is equipped with software and hardware labs. There are three software and three computer engineering labs.

Library: The library of the IIIT Kalyani is a continuously growing organism with compact features; document, user information & services. Its core purpose is to promote academics in knowledge generation through various educational activities; teaching and research.

Hostel: The institute provides accommodations for outstation students on a payment basis in the rented apartments. Separate accommodation is provided for boys and girls students. The institute has recruited four hostels, three for kids and one for girls. The hostels are well situated available to all the conveniences (playgrounds, markets, railway stations, bus stops). All the guest houses are equipped with WiFi and 24 Hrs security.

Medical Services: IIIT Kalyani had set up the medical facilities with the College of Medicine & JNM Hospital, Kalyani. Ambulance service (with ICU facility) has been available for 24 hours on-call basis.
