The IIM Ahmedabad 2024 application process depends on the applied courses like for the PGP and PGP-FABM the applicants will have to apply through the CAT website and for the Ph.D. the applicants will have to apply through the official website.

The applicants interested in the PGPX, AFP, FPM, and ePGP courses will be able to apply only after the announcement of the IIM Ahmedabad 2024 Application Form.

• The applicants will have to register on the official website and create a user id and password to log in.

Eligibility for ePGP

• Educational Qualification: In order to get admission in the institution the applicants should have passed Graduation / Bachelor’s Degree / CA / ICWA  from a recognized university
• Work Experience: The applicant who wants to get admission to the institution must hold a minimum work experience of three years after completing their graduate studies.
• Minimum Age Limit: The official authorities will provide admission to those applicants who are more than 24 years of age (as of December 2024).
• Minimum Percentage: In the qualifying exam the applicant should have passed more than 50 % marks in total in order to get selected for the admission process.

Eligibility for PGPX

• Educational Qualifications: Minimum qualification required by the applicant in order to get admission to the institution is that he or she should have completed a Bachelor’s Degree or any equivalent degree with 10 + 2 + 3 system of Education from a recognized university. 
• Minimum age limit: The minimum age limit of the applicant applying for the admission process should be above 27 years of age.
• Maximum age limit: The authorities have not set any upper age limit.
• Score Card: The applicants who hold a valid scorecard of the GMAT entrance exam or GRE entrance exam are eligible to apply for the admission process.
• Work Experience: Those applicants who have completed their graduate studies and hold a minimum of four years of full time work experience in the relevant field after completing the education are eligible to get admission in the institution.

Eligibility for FPM

• Educational qualification: 
  • It is mandatory that the applicant must have passed HSC exams from a recognized board and then complete any one of the following exams. 
  • The applicants who have completed their Master’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply. 
  • However, those applicants who have completed a Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification are also eligible. 
  • Those applicants who hold a valid certificate of Five / four – year Integrated Master’s Degree program in any discipline are also eligible for the admission process. 
  • The applicants who have completed a professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS, are also eligible to apply for the admission process and get admission in the institution. 
  • Those applicants who have completed a 4 year or 8 semester’s Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university are also eligible to apply for the admission. 
• Minimum Marks:
• The applicant must have scored a minimum of 60 % marks in total in the 4 years or 8 semester’s Bachelor’s Degree course. 
• In the Master’s degree or professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS, those applicants who have scored a minimum of 55 % marks in aggregate are only eligible to apply. 
• In the Bachelor’s degree, the applicants who have secured at least 50 % marks in aggregate are only eligible to apply for the admission process.

Eligibility for PGP-FABM

• Educational qualification:
  • Qualified applicants in the Bachelors or Master’s Degree in agricultural sciences or agriculture-related disciplines from any recognized university. 
  • Those applicants who have completed their Bachelors or Master’s Degree from a non-agricultural field but have a keen interest in agriculture, food, rural and allied sectors are also eligible to apply for the admission process, but they have to submit a special form as described in section 2.1 under admission procedure
• Recognition: The above-said qualification must have been passed from an institute which has been incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or some known educational body which is formed by an act of Parliament or from a university which is considered as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India are only eligible to apply for the admission process. 
• Minimum Percentage for General Category applicants: The general category applicants must have scored more than 50 % marks in total in the above-said qualification. 
• Minimum Percentage for reserved applicants: The applicants who belong to the reserved category like Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) category must have scored more than 45 % marks in total in the above-said qualification.

Eligibility for PGP course

• Educational qualification: Those applicants who have been qualified in the Bachelor’s Degree with 10 + 2 + 3 system of education or any equivalent discipline from any recognized university. 
• Appearing applicants: The applicants who are appearing for the final year exam are also eligible to apply for the admission process but they have to submit some necessary documents as mentioned by the authority that is a certificate from the principal/ head of the department/ registrar/ director of the institution/ university certifying that the applicant is present in the closing year / is awaiting final results obtaining the minimum qualifying marks required. 
• Minimum Percentage for General Category applicants: The applicants who belong to the general category must have scored more than 50 % marks in total in the above-said qualification. 
• Minimum Percentage for reserved applicants: The applicants who belong to the reserved category like Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) category must have scored more than 45 % marks in total in the above-said qualification.

IIM Ahmedabad 2024 Admission Process

The official authorities of the IIM (Indian Institute of Management), Ahmedabad will be responsible to conduct the IIM Ahmedabad 2024 Admission Process for the eligible applicants who want to get admission in different courses offered in the IIM Ahmedabad. 

The official authorities of the IIM Ahmedabad will organize the IIM Ahmedabad 2024 Admission Process for the PGP courses on a two-step process that will consist of step one – Preliminary Screening and step two – Shortlisting for analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview Round (PI) and on the basis of these two steps the official authorities will conduct a final selection round of the applicants. 

Step 1 – Preliminary Screening

The official authorities will conduct the Preliminary Screening process for the applicants on the basis of the CAT scores. The applicants will get the details related to the Preliminary Screening in the below section:

• The official authorities will release a minimum cut off marks for the applicants. 
• The cut off marks will be declared on the basis of the marks secured by the applicants in the entrance exam. 
• The applicants will be able to get the information about the cut off mark on the official website. 
• The applicants will be selected for further step two on the basis of the cut-off. 
• So the applicants who have secured well in the entrance exam and have scored more than the minimum cut off marks decided by the authority will be able to go ahead with the further admission process.

Step 2: Shortlisting for analytical Writing test (AWT) and Personal Interview Round (PI)

• In this round, the official authorities of the IIM Ahmedabad will select the applicants for the written test and the interview round. 
• The applicants will be selected for the personal interview round on the basis of the marks secured by the applicants in the past qualifying exams that are on the basis of the SSC, HSC, and bachelor’s degree exams. 
• So the applicants who have secured higher marks in the past qualifying exam will be able to get selected for the personal interview round.
