IISER Admission Procedure 2019 Counseling has been Started now. The entrance examination of the IISER (Indian Institute of Science and Research) is a national entrance exam. Candidates can obtain admission in 5 years of BS-MS courses in two stages through the SCB channel.

IISER Admission 2019

IISER will perform the admission procedure via the online mode. Based on a candidate’s score on the IISER proficiency test, admission will be offered on the SCB channel at its affiliated campuses. Admissions will also be provided based on the KVPY and JEE Advanced Entrance Examinations. Candidates must send the score of these two exams and download the letter of acceptance (letter of offer) to attend the notice.

Applicants who wish to obtain admission to one of the IISERs through one of the entrance exams must complete the application form. Of the total seats, 50% of the seats will be covered by KVPY, and JEE Advanced and the remaining seats will be filled by the SCB channel.

IISER Admission Procedure 2019 

IISER offers admissions in several channels. Subsequently, candidates can check the admission procedure of the channel.

IISER Admissions under KVPY Channel:

Candidates who will appear on this exam must first appear on the KVPY entrance examination. Based on the KVPY scorecard, IISER will grant the seats to the candidates.

Applicants must complete the application form to participate in the consultation. Applicants must also pay the application fee according to the requirement.

IISR Admissions under JEE Advanced Channel:

In this channel, the admissions will be proposed according to the JEE Advanced score of the candidates. Only qualified JEE Advanced candidates can participate in the evaluation.

Applicants must complete the application form to register for counseling. After that, the candidate can download the acceptance letter on the official website. Candidates who register on the site will only be considered for advice.

IISER Admissions under SCB Channel: 

In this channel, the candidates must first appear in the proficiency test that IISER will perform. On the basis of the marks obtained in the aptitude test, the qualifications will be granted to the candidate. Based on the grades received, admission will be granted to candidates.

The joint admission committee will award the seats to the candidates based on the options completed, the ranking and the availability of seats.
