IUCAA provides challenging opportunities to young researchers in instrumentation, ground and space-based observations and data analysis, gravitational wave astrophysics, theoretical astrophysics, and cosmology. INAT 2023 Application Form 2023

Applicants can fill out the Application Form and assessment form through online mode by visiting on the official website those applicants who want to complete their research programs and want to get a research scholarship from the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, and National Centre for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA), Pune, they can apply on the basis of their Eligibility Criteria. The application form details have provided below.

• The application form will be available and submission will be provided in the last week of September.
• On the official website, the assessment form will be provided and to fill that form, candidates have to register themselves.
• Candidates will get the Application Form along with the assessment form, which they have to submit with the referee report after submitting login credentials.
• A referee is an academic community member who offers an assessment of the candidate’s academic career.
• The application forms are evaluated and shortlisted by a screening committee comprising of IUCAA and NCRA faculty members.
• The application fee will not be charged through authority.

INAT Exam Pattern 2023

With the help of the exam pattern, candidates understand the structure of the question paper and it will be very helpful for them to do better preparation. The exam pattern will have all the details of the examination.

• INAT Test Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
• Question Paper will have 3 Parts; i.e. Part A, Part B, and Part C
• Part A shall ask 17 Objective Type Questions on basic Mathematics, Physics, and Electronics.
• Part B shall ask seventeen objective-type questions from advanced Physics, Mathematics and Electronics/Engineering.
• Each question in Part A and B carry four answer choices. Candidates require finding the correct choice and marking the answer.
• For each correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded
• For each wrong answer, –1 mark will be awarded.
• Part C shall ask 6 questions from both basic and advanced studies in the above subjects.
• The answer to questions in Part C will be integers of 3 digits.
• For each correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded.
• There is no negative marking for wrong answers in Part Candidates qualified in the written test shall be called to appear for TWO INTERVIEWS.

INAT Admit Card 2023

Those applicants have successfully submitted their Application Form, they can download the admit card online mode from the official website.

Admit card is the mandatory document that should carry by all appealing candidates at the examination center along with the required documents for verification. Candidates need to take the printout of the admitting card for future use. Admit card consists of name, roll number, and subjects.

INAT Result 2023

The IUCAA and NCRA Pune will declare the INAT result on its official webpage those applicants who have given this entrance examination, they can check their results online mode by visiting on the official website.

To check the result, applicants have to submit the required details in the required field and on the basis of marks obtained in the examination, applicants will be shortlisted for admission.

Students will be selected for an interview session and they need to bring all necessary documents at the interview session for verification. Mobile phones, digital diaries, laptops, etc. are NOT allowed in the test and interview halls.
