JCECEB 2023 B.Ed Application Form can be filled till 10th March 2023. JCECEB (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board) is also known as JCECE (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination). This is a self-financed, autonomous incorporated body of State Govt.

This university was established under Section 85 of the Bihar Re-Constituted Act, 2000 by the Govt. vide Memo No. 374 dated 29.03.2001. The Government has started a member of the Board for taking decisions on policy and organizational matters through the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board Act. 2000.

J.C.E.C.E.B. presently organizes the following entrance tests: Post Graduate Medical Admission Test (PGMAT), Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE), B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Competitive Examination (B.Sc NECE), Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE), Industrial Training Institute Entrance Competitive Examination (ECE), Diploma to Degree Entrance Competitive Examination (DtoDECE), Vocational to Diploma Entrance Competitive Examination (VtoDECE), etc. The Government of Jharkhand has assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission into various Institutions in the state.

JCECEB 2023 Application Form

Details of the JCECEB 2023 Application Form are given below :

• Applicants have been able to fill the JCECEB 2023 Application Form only through online mode.
• The Application Form has been Extended till 31st March 2023 for B.Ed courses.
• Applicants can fill in just one form as more than one form will not be entertained.
• No changes will be allowed after the submission of the Application Form.
• Applicants who are applying through online mode do not need to send a hard copy of the Application Form.

JCECEB 2023 Application Fee

• Application fees can be paid Online.
• Online payment can be done through Credit/Debit Cards and e-banking etc.
• Application fees once paid will not be refunded back.

JCECEB 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

• Qualification: Candidate with at least 50% marks either in Bachelor’s Degree and or in the Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/ Humanities/Commerce, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for appearing in the B.Ed. Combined Entrance Competitive Examination-2023.
• Percentage: The Candidate will have to choose only one subject (within a subject category) which she/he must have studied in the qualifying degree, i.e., Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree for at least 200 marks and out of which obtained at least 50% in that subject. The subject will henceforth be referred to as the teaching subject in the B.Ed. course.
• Passing year: There is no restriction in the passing year to apply in B.Ed. course.

JCECEB 2023 Exam Pattern

JCECE 2023 exam will be held at the Pen Paper Based exam (offline mode). The exam pattern is given below:

• Type of Question: The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking: For each wrong response, ¼ marks will be deducted from the total score.
• Total marks: Each subject group is assigned a total of 150 marks.
• Language: The question paper will be published in both English and Hindi
• Duration of Exam: 1 hour will be given for Biology & mathematics and 2 hours will be provided for Physics & Chemistry.

How to Prepare for Exam

• Before starting preparation, you should analyze the syllabus prescribed for the examination.
• Prepare a good time-table as per your daily schedule and include all the topics of the syllabus in your preparations.
• Refer to the best preparation books and other study materials available in the market or on the internet.
• Practice from previous year question papers and sample papers to know more about the exam pattern
• Mark all the important topics of the syllabus and prepare short notes and revise them at the end of preparations.
• Don’t take stress while preparing for the exam and take a healthy & nutritious diet.
• Manage your time for some exercise and yoga it will keep you fit and health

Physics:

Topics asked in the exam include kinematics, laws of motion, work, energy and power, physical world and measurement, gravitation, current electricity, properties of bulk matter, optics, electromagnetic waves, dual nature of matter and radiation, atoms and nuclei, electronic devices, thermodynamics.

Chemistry:

Topics asked in the exam include solid-state, electrochemistry, basic concepts of chemistry, solution, chemical kinetics, the structure of atoms, states of matter, equilibrium, surface chemistry, hydrogen, redox reactions, P-block elements, D and F-block elements, alcohols, phenols and ethers, biomolecules, halo-alkanes, and halo-arenes.

Mathematics: 

Topics asked in the exam include limits and derivatives, complex numbers and quadratic equations, straight lines, binomial theorem, mathematical reasoning, statistics, relations and functions, matrices, determinants, application of derivatives, integrals, 3D geometry, probability.

Biology:

Topics asked in the exam include human physiology, plant physiology, cell, ecology and environment, genetics and evolution, sexual reproduction, diversity in the living world, biotechnology, and its applications.

JCECEB 2023 Exam Admit Card

• Admit card is also known as Hall ticket and will be released before 4 days of Exam on the official portal.
• Applicants will be able to download the Admit card through online mode only.
• Admit cards/hall tickets is a mandatory document that has all the details such as Name, Roll Number, photograph, signature, examination schedule & examination center details, etc
• Applicants who are attaining exams are informed to carry valid Original admit cards with id proof if applicants didn’t bring them, applicants will not be allowed to attain exams in the examination hall.
• Applicants who have successfully submitted their application can only download the admit cards.
• Its applicant’s responsibility to keep their hall ticket safe until the completion of exams

JCECEB 2023 Exam Result

• The release date for the results will be announced on the official website.
• Applicants will have to log in with their registration number to get their results.
• Results will be available on the official website a few days after the examination is completed.
• It is also advised to keep extra printed copies of the results as they will be required in future

Steps to Download Result

• Log on to the official website.
• Search for the link to the result.
• Select your course and click on the proper link
• Enter your roll number and date of birth
• After providing details click on the submit button
• Download and take the print of it for future reference

JCECEB 2023 Exam Counselling

Applicants can attend the counseling at the JCECEB office with their original and Xerox documents with self-attention on the Xeroxed documents. While attending the counseling, applicants are required to pay the counseling fee.

Applicants have to visit the counseling center with the allotment letter, for admission. Applicants who will fail to submit the necessary documents will be rejected.

The first round of counseling is conducted in June 2023.
