For B.Com Course:

• Subjects: Candidate must choose subjects like Commerce, economics or mathematics as one of their subjects. 
• Percentage: The minimum marks the candidate must score for general OBC will be 40%, and SC/ ST must score 33% marks.

PG Course

For M.Sc. course:

• Qualification: The candidate must have a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university.
• Marks: Candidate must score at least 45% for General/ OBC and 40% for SC/ ST.
• Subject: Candidates with Anthropology, Zoology, Botany, Geology or Environmental Science in the final year.

For MBA Course:

• Qualification: The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university or institute.
• Marks: Candidate must score at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate for SC/ ST candidates.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in the current year must be eligible.

Lucknow University Admission 2023 Exam Pattern

• The entrance exam of BFA/ BVA/all certificates and diploma courses will be practical and conducted offline.
• This exam will consist of 3 parts: a written test, object drawing in pencil and memory drawing in pencil.
• There will be 50 objective-type questions and 200 marks for the written part. 
• Whereas the object drawing in pencil and memory drawing in pencil will be 100 marks each.
• The time duration to complete the paper will be 60 minutes.

For PG Course

• The exam paper will have three sections for all PG Programmes except for MCA and LLB programmes.
• Time Duration: The total time to complete the exam will be 2 hours.
• Several questions: The exam paper will contain ten questions from all three sections. There will be five questions from Section A, three from Section B and two from Section C.

For LLB and MCA

• The exam paper for LLB and MCA programmes will contain a total of 100 MCQ questions in total. 
• Time Duration: The total time to complete the paper will be 90 minutes.

Marking Scheme 

• For admission into UG courses, +4 marks will be allotted to the candidate for each correct answer. 
• A -1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• For PG programme admission, Section A will be of total 25 marks ( 5 marks for each question), then, Section B will be of total 30 marks (15 marks for each question), and the  Section C will be of total 20 marks (1 question is to be attempted of 20 marks).
