Lucknow University M.Ed 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The Information Related to Lucknow University M.Ed 2023 Eligibility Criteria will be Provided Below.

• Candidates who hold the B.Ed., B.A.-B.Ed., B.Sc.-B.Ed., B.El.-B.Ed., & D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree or a recognized BTC or LT diploma or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate from a University established by the law and recognized by the University Grants Commission.
• One candidate can not pursue two Postgraduate degree courses at the same time.
• Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in the current year can apply for admission, but they should fulfil all eligibility conditions on the day of admission.

Lucknow University M.Ed 2023 Admission Procedure

The candidates will be given admission based on the marks received in the written examination and Interview, subject to fulfilling other eligibility criteria as specified by the university.

All the legal matters about the M.Ed. Admissions shall be subject to the Lucknow Jurisdiction only.

Lucknow University M.Ed 2023 Paper Pattern

• Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through Offline Mode.
• Duration of Exam: The written test will of 3 hours in duration
• Type of Questions: The Exam Paper will be done in the Multiple Choice question (MCQ) format.
• Number of Questions: The Exam Paper shall be Contains 250 questions.
• Number of Marks: The Exam Paper shall be Contains 250 Marks.
•  Marking Scheme: Each Question carries one mark for Correct Answers.

Lucknow University M.Ed 2023 Interview

The interview process is a maximum of 10 marks. The interview round assesses the presidential candidate’s power of expression, subject knowledge, teaching ability, and personality.

Lucknow University M.Ed 2023 Final Merit

Only those candidates who participated in both the written test and interview would be eligible for admission to the M.Ed. program. A final merit list is prepared for admission to M.Ed. out of a maximum of 310 marks.

The merit is drawn up by considering the marks obtained in a written test (250 marks), academic index weightage (50 marks), and interview (10 marks).

The final Merit list shall be available in the concerned Departments and will be available on the University website.

Tiebreaker Criteria

If more than one candidate obtains equal marks in the entrance exam, the merit is decided as follows:

• If the age of the candidates is the same in such cases, the first preference is given to the candidate who secures a higher percentage of marks at B.Ed. or equivalent examination.
• Suppose the marks fixed in the B.Ed. or equivalent examination are the same in such cases. In that case, first preference will be given to the candidate who secures a higher percentage of marks at the Graduation examination.
• Suppose the marks fixed in the Graduation examination are the same in such cases. In that case, first preference is given to the candidate who gives to a higher percentage of marks at Class 12 or equivalent examination.
• Suppose the marks secured in the Class 12 examination are the same in such cases. In that case, first preference will be given to the candidate who secures a higher percentage of marks at High School or the equivalent in the examination.
• If the marks secured in the High School or with an equivalent examination are the same, the first preference goes to the older candidate.
