Meghalaya TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria, Qualification, Age – Check Here Category Wise

Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education for those candidates, who want to become the teachers for class I to class VIII.

Meghalaya TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

It is necessary for the candidates to be eligible to fill out the Application Form of Meghalaya TET, and without Eligibility Criteria; candidates cannot apply for the Meghalaya TET Examination. The Eligibility Criteria details are mentioned below.

1. Primary Teachers (1 to 5th Classes) :

Candidates should have HSSLC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or showing in the final year of 2- year diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known).

OR
Candidates HSSLC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or showing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed).

OR

HSSLC (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or showing in the final year of 2- year diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

B.A / B.Sc Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year diploma in instruction (by whatever name known)

2. Higher Primary Teachers (VI to VIII Classes):

Candidates should have B.A / B.Sc / Any Graduation and passed or showing in the final year of a 2-year diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known).

OR

B. A / B.Sc Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or showing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

OR

HSSLC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or showing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in instruction (B.El.Ed)

OR

HSSLC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or showing in the final year of 4- year B. A /B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed.

OR

B. A / B.Sc Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or showing in 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education)
