MU OET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Those students who wish to complete their undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programs from the various affiliated colleges of Manipal University can fill out the application form for MU OET on the basis of their eligibility criteria.
The eligibility criteria include nationality, age, qualification marks obtained in the qualifying exam, etc. The eligibility criteria are mentioned below for the candidates.

Candidates must have completed the 12th class exam, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or any equivalent exam from a recognized board/institute.
They must achieve at least 50% marks aggregate in the qualifying exam.
No minimum age is fixed.
Through the Manipal University Entrance Test
B. Sc. Nursing
12th class pass, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.
Candidates must obtain a minimum of 45% marks together in all subjects.
Date of birth must fall on or before 01.01.2002.
Marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
Bachelor of Pharmacy
10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, and English with Mathematics/Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology as optional subjects.
Candidates passed from Open School are not eligible for admission under the Pharmacy Act.
The date of birth of the candidate should fall on or before 01.01.2002
Through Manipal University Online Entrance Exam
Bachelor of Architecture
Applicants should score minimum of 40% marks in the All India National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
They also have passed the following courses with a minimum 50% marks aggregate: 12th with Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects OR 3-year Diploma with Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects after 10 years of schooling (any stream) recognized by Central/State Govt.
No minimum age limit is prescribed.
Marks obtained in the qualifying examination and NATA Score
Bachelor of Design (Fashion)
Pass in 12th class or 3 years Diploma by the Central/State Govt. or equivalent exam from any recognized Board.
There is no minimum age limit for appearing in the test.
Marks secured in the qualifying examination and through Manipal University Design Aptitude Test(MDAT)
B. Tech.
10+2 exam passed, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent exam with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional subjects.
Candidates must secure at least 50% marks together in the qualifying exam.
No minimum age limit is fixed for appearing in the test.
Through the Manipal University, the candidate should achieve 50% marks in the test.
Diploma in Nursing
Candidates should have passed PUC Science/Arts/ Commerce subjects from Karnataka PU Board as a regular candidates with a minimum 40% marks aggregate.
He/she should be within 17-25 years of age.
The candidate should also know Kannada and English.
The candidate should be medically fit.
Qualifying examination marks
Diploma in Fashion Design
12th Pass or 3 years Diploma by the Central/State Govt. or equivalent qualification from any recognized Board.

M.Sc. Physics
Candidates should have passed B.Sc. with Physics as the main subject, securing a minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
No minimum age limit.
Qualifying examination marks
MSc Yoga Therapy
A Graduate in any discipline is eligible.
They should have obtained a minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
Marks obtained in the qualifying examination
M.Sc. Information Science
B.Sc. degree holder in Computer Science/Information, Science/Mathematics/ Electronics/ Physics/Chemistry/BCA with minimum 50% aggregate marks
Any equivalent qualifications from any foreign University are also considered.
No age limit is fixed.
Marks scored in the Qualifying Examination.
Master of Pharmacy
B. Pharm from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India with having at least 50% marks in aggregate.
No minimum age limit for applicants.
Through MU OET the candidate should score 50% marks on the entrance
M. Tech. Chemical Engineering
Candidate having BE/B.Tech. Degree or AMIE or equivalent qualification in Chemical/ Biochemical/Petroleum/ Bioprocess Engineering/Biotechnology/ Pharmaceutical Technology/ Polymer Technology.
The minimum age limit is not prescribed.
Through MU OET, candidates should achieve 50% marks in the test.
M. Tech. Computer Science & Engineering
Candidates having BE/B.Tech. Degree or AMIE or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication or Information Technology or Information Science & Engineering.
Age is not a criterion.
Through the Manipal University Online Entrance Test with 50% marks in the test.
M. Tech. Microelectronics
Candidates should have BE/B.Tech. Degree or AMIE or equivalent qualification in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation & Control.
There is not minimum age limit for appearing in the test.
