Maharishi Valmiki Sanskrit University (MVSU) is a university established in 2018 by the Government of Haryana at Mundri in the municipality of the Kaithal district of India. It’s been 12 km east of Kaithal, 111 km from the state capital Chandigarh, 145 km from Hisar, as well as a 164 km from the NCR New Delhi.

On 15 March 2018, the proposed bill to establish this university was passed in Haryana Vidhan Sabha. Even though the idea for this university is for the first time conceived by the Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, to 2015. It was established through the Haryana Act No. 20 OF 2018. It is named for Hindu sage, Balmiki, the celebrated Sanskrit literature author of Ramayana (500 BC to 100 BC), who has been a contemporary of Rama and venerable as Ādi Kavi, the first poet, novelist of Ramayana, the world first epic poem.

Haryana state possesses over 24 Sanskrit colleges offering education the same value as the bachelor’s degree, aside from that masters and doctoral level qualifications are also available through Kurukshetra University and Maharshi Dayanand University. University is established as an educational and affiliating university for research in Sanskrit and its revival, Vedas, Indic languages, Indian culture & Indian philosophy.

Educational Qualifications

• Applicants should have passed 12th Class, Graduate, Post Graduate, equivalent from the acknowledged board/University/Institution.
• Driving License of Light and Heavy vehicles.

Age Limit

Candidates’ age limit is supposed to be Minimum 18 years & Maximum 42 years.

Relaxable up to five years in connection with the of Scheduled Castes/ Backward Classes/ Widow/ Woman divorcee/ legally separated woman/ un-married women who/ deserted woman candidates.

The upper age limit for persons with disabilities is relaxable with ten years (15 years for persons with disabilities of SCs/BCs).

Ex-servicemen candidates can be recruited under the age of 42 years plus continuous military service added through three years. In the case of The Planned Caste

MVSU 2024 Result

Aspirants will have to download their results from the official website as no other method will be made accessible. The minimum marks required to qualify is qualifying for the cutoff.

Authority has specified the cutoff for every category wherein students who the grade equal to or above this cutoff will be eligible for admissions.

• For Female General candidates Grade ‘A’ and ‘B’ posts (Sr. No. 1 to 3) Female of Haryana resident only Rs. 600/-
• For The Men’s SC/BC/EWS Candidate of Haryana State only Grade ‘A’ and ‘B’ posts (Sr. No. 1 to 3) Rs. 300/-
• For Female SC/BC/EWS The Nominees of Haryana State only Grade ‘A’ and ‘B’ posts (Sr. No. 1 to 3) Rs. 150/-
• For Male General candidates Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ messages (Sr. No. 4 to 12) (regardless of State/Female (Non-Haryana resident) application fee Rs. 600/-

• Application fee in the guise of a bank draft drawn in favor of ”The Finance Officer, MVSU” and should be paid at Kaithal should be attached with every application form. No amount will be accepted through cheque, cash, money order, postal order or any other means. The dependent of ESM and DFF are required to pay the fee as far as the General, SC or BCA & BCB candidates as the case may be. Fee on one occasion submitted with the application form is neither transferable nor repayable/adjustable.

• In Order To Get A Non-Teaching Grade A, B, C & D post-Functional Pay Level FPL 2-12
• For The Instruction post salary Rs. 50000/- per month.
