NEET Full Form : What is the FullForm of NEET Exam in Hindi & English ?

The biggest question that arises in the medical aspirants is, “What is the Full form of NEET Exam?” The answer is  National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) which is called राष्ट्रीय पात्रता सह प्रवेश परीक्षा in Hindi.

This is an entrance examination which is conducted by CBSE Board, and it is replaced by various other medical exams like State medical entrances tests and AIPMT Etc.

Admission into Medical Colleges through NEET

For students wishing to study any graduate medical course (MBBS / dental course (BDS) or postgraduate (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges in India.NEET-UG (Undergraduate), for MBBS and BDS courses, out by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET-UG replaced all Indian Medical Examinations (AIPMT) and all individual MBBS exams conducted by states or universities in 2013.

The undergraduate courses of the New India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, the Postgraduate Institute for Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, the Jawaharlal Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education and JIPMER Research are out of the scope of NEET Separate laws created these institutes.

NEET was first proposed from 2012 onwards

However, for various reasons, the CBSE and the Medical Council of India deferred NEET for one year.

The test was announced by the Government of India and was held for the first time on May 5, 2013, throughout India for students who wish to access undergraduate and postgraduate medicine.

On July 18, 2013, SC rendered a decision in favor of 115 petitions and canceled the NEET Examination and announced that MCI could not interfere with the college admission process.

Following the announcement by the Indian Medical Council that it would submit the NEET-UG test in 2012, several states, including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu, opposed changing, stating that there was wide variation in the program proposed by MCI and its state curricula.

Although NEET 2016 is conducted in English and Hindi, it is announced that students can write exams in Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, and Gujarati from 2017 onwards.

Kannada, languages are added to the list so that students can write exams in nine words in India and English.

The Supreme Court of India quashed the national eligibility and entry test (NEET) for admission to all medical and dental schools on 18 July 2013. The apex court ruled that the Indian Medical Council can not perform a unified test.

NEET Undergraduate

The NEET undergraduate examination is carried out by the Central Board of Secondary Education and was held for the first time on 5 May 2013.

With respect to marking, each correct answer reaches four points, with a score deduced by each incorrect answer

NEET Postgraduate

The Common Entrance Test (CET), also known as the NEET Postgraduate Examination, is intended for admission to post-graduate medical courses throughout India. It was held online from November 23 to December 6, 2012.
