NERIST 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for NEE I:

Age criteria:

• Applicants who belong to the general category must be below the age of 19 at the time of admission.
• Applicants who belong to OBC category should not be more than 22 years and that of SC/ST/PD category should be less than 24 years at the time of admission.

Educational qualifications:

• The applicant should complete SSC or any equivalent exam from a known university or board.

Subject:

• Science and mathematics should be a mandatory subject in the qualifying exam.

Eligibility criteria for NEE-II: 

• Age criteria:
  • Applicants who want to appear for the exam should be more than 23 years for general category, 26 years for OBC category and 28 years for SC/ST/PD category applicants.
• Educational qualifications:
  • The applicant should complete HSC or any equivalent exam from a known university or board.

Eligibility criteria for NEE I:

• Age criteria:
  • Applicants who want to appear for the exam should be more than 40 years for general category, 43 years for OBC category and 45 years for SC/ST/PD category applicants.
• Educational qualifications:
  • Minimum of three years of diploma course in any relevant field or any equivalent exam should be completed by the applicant from a known university.

Points to keep in mind while applying for NEE:

• One must apply for NEE 2023 “ONLINE” by logging to the website www.neeonline.ac.in.
• Candidate can fill up the entire form in one session or fill only one part of the information and save and complete the same later within the due dates.
• Those belonging to SC/ST/OBC must select an option from the drop-down menu such as reservation code etc. and fill the same in the relevant field.
• Appearing candidates must produce mark sheets/grade cards/ pass certificates on the day of counselling/admission.
• The application fee for NEE 2023 is Rs.400/-+ bank transaction charges for SC/ST/PD candidates, and Rs.750/- + bank transaction charges for GENERAL/OBC and all other candidates.
• Please note that the application fee is non-refundable. Also, once submitted, an applicant cannot make any changes in the online Application Form.
