Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education comprising of Noorul Islam College of Engineering as its component teaching unit has been acknowledged as a Deemed-to-be-University by Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of Higher Education), Government of India through the section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, on the advice of UGC, vide Notification No.F.9-51/2004-U.3 dated 8th December 2008.

The University is administered by the Noorul Islam Center for Higher Education (NICHE) Society by means of Janab Dr. A.P. Majeed Khan as the President of the Society. The university campus at Kumaracoil, Thuckalay in Kanyakumari District of Tamilnadu, is set in the serene and lush khaki base of Velimalai, a gigantic part of Western Ghat Hills near the historically famed Padmanabhapuram Palace.

It is only a 1.5 km interior in the direction of the slopes of the foothills from Kumaracoil Intersection on the Kanyakumari Thiruvanthapuram National Highway (NH-47)- approximately 30 km from Kanyakumari and 60 km as of Trivandrum, the capital city of the state of Kerala.

• It is not required for candidate registration or confirms the online application form from the candidate login by visiting the website.

NICHE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
